Believe it or not, that was how I played SM64 for a long time. I never had a Nintendo 64, but a cousin of mine installed Project64 and a couple roms in my father's PC back in 2007. It was the first real videogame that I played in my life and finished it (70 stars) using only the keyboard.

love to see how people play SM64 on a keyboard, it's such a rare occurance ... personally that's how I spent playing most of my time in SM64. one of my favorite things I manged to pull off on a keyboard, albeit being on a rom hack, was doing the 0 star (2 keys) run on SM64 Star Road. It was dreadful and took a few hours, but I felt POWERFUL pulling it off
