I found the chipmunks at Round, Sand, & Fish Lakes to be especially friendly as well (like almost creepy because they would sit and stare at your and keep coming closer and closer). I half expected one to run up my leg!

Just got back from there this past weekend. My findings were similar to yours. We camped at Sand and felt it had the best views and fishing. I enjoyed your footage!
