If you want to prevent wheel spinning when accelerating (namely on editing supercars, sport cars, etc.) and for more realistic traction, just set the fTractionLossMult to very low or to 0.00. However, you might want to adjust your vecCentreOfMassOffset z = "lower than the usual" and after that, adjusting the fRollCentreHeightFront closer/balanced to the center of mass. Just make sure the fRollCentreHeightRear is a little lower (at least 10%) than the fRollCentreHeightFront. Therefore, your car will never flip when making sharp turns (due to highass traction), regardless of your suspension. Edit: -vecCentreOfMassOffset y-

I did everything shown in this video but my modkit still wont work, could it be something else in the files thats wrongly spelled or something? Everything seems to be correct when i look through the files
If you've made sure your kit IDs are the same, then there might be some typo issues. I'd definitely go over the video again and see if you notice any discrepancies in your meta files.
each time I edit something in there, reload the car then it all resets to "default" settings that are 1. completely different than what is in handling.meta for the car and 2. changes are not saving and 3. even if I do the things and save it, restart the server and it does load up the correct physics, no matter what I change in the roll thing, it still flips like crazy...
You might be using a handling.meta that has been corrupted. As much as it sucks, I'd suggest grabbing a random NEW handling.meta and starting over.
@@snowy_aura What do you mean corrupted? It literally does the exact same thing on every single vehicle I put into my test server. It works and the moment I change someting, save, restart the vehicle in console then it changes... I can take any handling.meta and put it there and it will do the same thing over and over again. I tried it on vanilla vehicles, multiple modded vehicles and the one I am trying to do aswell and all of them have the same exact issue with the handling.meta being reset the second I restart the car. Anyways, its pretty annoying cuz when the car rolls over, with NOS it goes straight but when I edit the centre of mass offset on Z (which is height) then it stops the roll at around -0.41 but then the second I use NOS, the car does frontflip.... I am so confused with this whole thing and there aint no tutorial or explanation anywhere how to see debug info or how to edit the centre of mass offset to its propper place...

I downloaded a 67 caprice low rider and 61 impala with hydraulics grabbed everything from 67 the vehicles Mets layouts of it has it and carcols and handling I put it on the car I wanted those exact files and it made my 49 mercury jump and hop 🙏

Hello. I'm having trouble with some of my vehicles. When players change the tires and rims. What happens when you grab it from your garage is that the old rims are back on it. Could you make a video explaining a fix for this? Thanks!
That sounds like a script issue. Could possibly be something with how the vehicles get saved once they're put into a garage. Unfortunately I can't create a video on specifically that, as I have no clue how scripts like that even work.

I don't use the same graphics pack anymore, so that wouldn't make much sense. Most packs have a readme file, that'll tell you how to install the pack.

Realistically yes, if you just fit everything inside of the file to your specifications. That however is not as easy as it sounds.

@@snowy_aura littel bigger Problem because the Server Crash when you Join on IT when you have the Sounds on the Server and thats Sounds without Cars and some of them with Cars
@@iluminaten3337 hey. I didn't see your reply - sorry. I'm unsure whether you have gotten this fixed yet, but I've had it happen to me too. If it is exactly what I think it is, it has something to do with the fxmanifest.lua file, sfx and audioconfig folders. The crash message should give you a rough idea of what's wrong.

Considering that the question opens up for two separate answers. #1. You could technically speaking just grab any kind of NPC car that you see on the street, turn than into an add-on, and then follow the steps in the video. #2. This is the answer that I think you're mostly looking for, which is whether you can add hydraulics to NPC cars. Technically speaking yes. On paper would simply just require you to stream a carcols.- and carvarations.meta file to a specific spawncode ("stretch" as an example), and then it should work. I will say beforehand though that isn't something I have ever tried personally.

Hey Bud, great video. Ty for taking the time to fully explain each catergory. I recently just purchased a 90 car pack for my city and was wondering what would you recommend for Trucks/SUVs? As far as Speed, Transmission, & Gears? I know an average is 6-7
Thanks :) What I personally do is I look for websites that specify 0-60MPH, top speed, drivetrain (whether it's FWD, RWD or AWD), and then lastly transmission to figure out how many gears the vehicle has. When it comes to gears, I've generally noticed the power output of the car changes drastically when you've got 7-8+ gears, which is why I usually suggest a max amount of gears around 6-7. I personally haven't done all that many drift handlings, so I don't have a lot of experience specifically with those. What I do remember is that you have to play around with amount of power, steering angle as well as traction the car has. Let me know if you'd like me to go more into details :)

Well for starters I'd suggest making the car all-wheel drive. You do this by: <fDriveBiasFront value ="0.500000". Next up I'd play around with fInitalDragCoeff. Like I say in the video, the greater the value, the more downforce the car will have at higher speeds. You'll also benefit from increasing the values of fTractionCurveMax and fTractionCurveMin. Which value should I change to make my car stop spinning out when hitting bumps/curves even when I first start accelerating the car wants to spin out
Sounds like you're having issue with the suspension, and the amount of traction the car has from a stand-still. To fix the suspension issue, try playing around with the following: <fSuspensionForce value="3.500000" /> <fSuspensionCompDamp value="2.400000" /> <fSuspensionReboundDamp value="2.200000" /> <fSuspensionUpperLimit value="0.050000" /> <fSuspensionLowerLimit value="-0.050000" /> <fSuspensionRaise value="0.025000" /> You obviously don't have to use the exact same values that I am giving here in the comments, but you could always give it a shot. To fix the wheelspin, try playing with "fLowSpeedTractionLossMult". As I explained in the video, the lower the value is, the more traction you'll have when accelerating at low speeds. The greater the value, the more wheelspin you'll experience. I usually like to have mine between 0.75-1.00, for a "regular" street car. If it is a car with a lot of power (~500+ HP), I go above 1.20ish. Let me know if it works :)
