The problem with any kind of spring muting method for vibrato bridge equipped guitars is that it will ALWAYS interfere with the function of the bar and bridge, never properly returning to 0. Try it yourself with a tuner even on a Floyd or Floyd adjacent that stays in tune well. That's why I just resigned myself to the spring echo coming from the trem cavity as a fact of life on these kinds of guitars, even if on some of them I block the bridges flat out.

Hi! This video is 5 years old, but I'd like to ask something about an issue I'm having, if you can help! I've got both an lbx1 and an lbx2, I use a torpedo captor and from there to the audio interface using wall of sound, same setup as yours. The problem is that I have to keep the gain of the interface at zero, or the gain led indicates clipping otherwise, even at just 1 and even if I don't play at all, and it happens on both channels ( lbx more on the blue than the red, lbx2 more on the blue than the green). Torpedo line level is at 1/2 or 3/4 (via 1/4 jack not trs). It happens with both amps, and it doesn't with any other amps ( tried with dsl 20, egnater tweaker 15, D'Angelo Custom 40w). It seems like the output from the amp is insanely high! Tried on a Scarlett and on a Clarett interface, same result. Did you have the same issue? Thanks a lot.

I’ve found the JB blends really well with boosts like the Boss SD-1. It tightens up and tames the thick low end, while adding some highs that make it much more suitable for anything heavy. Along with that, it also preserves some of the low end from the pickups, but it only preserves enough low end to keep it from sounding sterile, so you won’t have to worry about your pickups sounding thin or shrill.

Can E530 be used as "pedal" in conjunction with clean combo tube amp? I really like my clean sound from HK combo and like to use this for drive sounds only.I saw that it has instrument output so is it possible?

Both amps has the same kind of circuit stages with some minor differences. The main reason that the E530 sounds more open, bassy and crispy in the clean setting is due the fact that the tone stack is situated after the first triode (as usual in the old Fenders, exept for the Bassman). For the lead channel the tonestack is placed at the end of the 4 stages (like Marshall). The Powerball has the two tonestacks at the and of the ampstages. That's why the clean channel of the Powerball sound less bassy, less open and less crispy. The Fender bassman has the same tonestack place and that is why a Bassman sounds so different from a Super Reverb f.i.

E530 preamp is more juicy

I've watched most of the Captor X videos to learn the cable connections, and NONE of them show how to connect! They all start their videos with cables already connected... very frunstrating! PLUS this is the only video that shows the routing and recording with Wall of Sound within the DAW!! BEST Captor video youtube! Thank you!!

I have tried various other speakers in it and 2 days ago I put the original Blue Marvel 8 ohm speaker back in and it sounds the best with the Blue Marvel. you play exceptionally good.. also which model is that Jackson guitar ?

I think the Powerball cut just fine. There is a difference between the low end. The E530 is great, as always, but this demonstrates that the OG Powerball is also excellent, though somewhat different.
