So when I throw straight shots on the pads and the person holding the pads moves the pads forward my wrists haven't got to the fully rotated position and it hurts my wrists. Is there such a thing as a short jab or cross where you make contact with elbows bent and fists are not rotated over fully but more on a angle. Because when I throw punches like this at shorter range and don't fully rotate them but keep them on a angle my wrists don't hurt as the top two knuckles are in line with my wrist

When I lived in SD, I’d go to the gym 3x a week. A very special place and a great atmosphere. I have gone to multiple boxing gyms since, but still not found one to the caliber of PTC. Thank you coach Eddie, Mikey, and all the other staff there that make it a welcoming environment for learning and practicing the sweet science. I wish you another 10+ years of success.
