Been wondering about these. My local Office Depot has lots of these in stock. I have been shopping at Office Depot since '91. As usual Best Buy pushes whatever is profitable for them. Nvidea, Asus, Samsung. Products I don't buy. WalMart doesn't stock anything, as usual. They want you to order online from some strange/unknown 3rd part source. Anyways, sorry about the rant. I have the MacBook pro A1297 model from 2009 Mine doesn't have that recovery menu And also when I hold option it shows the HDD but no wifi option for recovery. I made a osx installer on windows using transmac and it only works when I hold option during the entire loading of the os But after the os is loaded the mouse and keyboard doesn't work so I can't do anything. Last thing when I hold the power button to shut off the Mac I doesn't power on anymore I have to reset SMC and p ram, and unplug the battery for a few minutes than plug it in Please help
