Strange CITV Error (2013)

Found what seems to be an old CITV recording featuring a technical fault/hacking? Unsure of a date off by hand but it's very...eerie to say the least... (actual description) Thought I'd recreate a mock that I had made maaany years ago but with a horror/videopasta twist! Those who don't know, I absolutely love horror and creepypastas, got back into them over a year ago and always wanted to make ...

ITV Granada Breakdown (3rd October 1992, fixed)

ITV has a technical problem during Batman: The Animated Series where John McKenzie (and Bugs Bunny) fill in with some music until the fault is rectified. This is a breakdown I actually remember watching on RUclips when I was really young (back in 2009/10) and I used to watch the video a lot (and still do occasionally) - the original video in question was sadly removed as the channel got suspend...

Просмотров 2703 месяца назад
This fault in particular resurfaced here on RUclips a couple of years ago, however the quality of the video and the sound was quite poor as this was compiled as a RealMedia file back in 2002. I've tried to restore the quality of this video by using the 'Music Video' ident with better quality along with breakdown music and the final announcement near the end which was taken from a shorter versio...

ITV has a cockup during the Britain's Got Talent Semi Final...(cut at the end as the rest of the breakdown consists of music and the announcer saying "Sorry" about 99 million times)

how to download this?
This is very similar to Bricopacks. Bricopacks were my goto custimization for xp.
I used to use that one for a bit as well. Might look at that in a future video.
i don’t think i’ve ever used XP 🤔
>Install transformation pack >opens a bunch of command prompts >Opens a bible quote >corrupts your windows install >leaves
Yeah that really was crazy aha
4:30 LMAOOO WTF 😂😂😂
subscribing to this channel, i hope this blows up hehe :3
Thank you! Really appreciate it!
Hi, fellow vrchat player xD Good video
@@Steam_VR thank yaaaa
I used ro use these on win 7 thanks for the nostolga
No problem!
Nice one. My friend ran this and it was really really well done. He now has a MacBook
It's great to see others experiences of this pack. It was really well done (at least the installer I was using for it aha)
the best looking dock in my opinion
Without a doubt! I really liked the skins that came with it!
Those transformation packs always added so much jank to the already kinda janky Windows. I played around with customization tools a lot back then but most of the time you ended up with something that looks more like a bootleg and functions like one. Although nowadays you can customize Windows 11 with Windhawk and if you are carefull not introduce more jank.
Also the Author had no real concept of what quite a few of the icons are. They used the System Folder Icon for the User Folder and Desktop, the Shared Icon for Documents, the generic app icon for Paint etc.
holyy shit, i'd completely forgotten about this until i saw this vid in my recommended... thx for the nostalgia!
No problem! I'm glad I could bring some nostalgia back!
Very strange add on init, although back in the day Windows was so horrible that many, many people looked up to macs
@@AveragePootis I certainly did aha
The Vista era was bad because most people didn't have a top of the line PC that could run it without some compromises in performance. even laptops that shipped with Vista ran a lot better with XP for a long time, so people were downgrading instead until Windows 7 was released
innit
Need more then one core on the vm really otherwise it will underperform
Good shout; that was probaly also the reason for the glitches.etc Will keep that in mind for the next video.
Henry pressed a button that allowed someone to hack into CITV.

I did remember the original version of this, quite scary when Horrid Henry screamed loud!
@@alfiehanratty8896 yea we were having none of that this time aha

try freebsd or openbsd
right now, I'm dual booting with FerenOS. once W10 is totally dropped, then Feren will be my main system. the only thing that will change this would be that Microsoft releases W12 and its just as good or better than W10.
hiya. while this might be a rather niche use... but can you help me with suggestions, tips or links to SPECIFIC tutorials to make my rig as a media server for the lan? i run on 3900x, 24gbram and a standard gigabit router (tp-link ax5400). my os and some games i care more about run on the 970 evo. i also have 1tb and 4tb samsung ssd's full of media. i still do not have enough capacity (in my eyes) to warrant a separate machine build. but i would like to have that media to be available on my local network. i can easily spare 2c4t and 8gb of ram, to run, possibly a linux vm that could host on-demand media server. i still have my relix of a pc (3570kOC'd with 16gb ram, but would need a new psu)... but if possible, i would rather sacrifice some of my 3900x's cores and ram. vlc-like decoder to help most of the platforms would be really useful! any good ideas? yes... i am a cheapskate.
@@Xamiakass Definitely replace that PSU if it's on it's way out. Don't cheap out on any hardware. Tbh, I'd just run Linux locally on a machine, especially as I did in the video run into quite a few issues with the VM, whilst locally you'll have a much smoother run at it.
@@ThatBritishSnep damn... there goes my cheapskate's way out. i guess, i will have to save for another 4tb ssd, to consider frankensteining a new rig and run as a server/nas. well, thanks for your time, bud! i was just "beggar's hope" style if somebody could suggest me something. lol, that's another 2 months extra plan. but seriously: thank you for the response.
@@Xamiakass Np! Glad I could at least point you on the right track! Good luck on your adventures!
It's you-bun-too, or ooh-bun-too, not u-bin-too! I'll excuse your perhaps Sussex/Southern accent?
@@benbrist Yeeeah my bad aha. I've always pronounced it as 'ooh-bin-too' XD
A lot of the issues that you are experiencing in this video are because you are running in virtualization. Lag, artifacts... the lot. Also... with Space Cadet, you're running Windows virtualization (openbox) on top of a virtualized Ubuntu on top of Windows. Not a good recipe, actually. 🙂 If you do have an extra SSD, you'd have a much better time installing directly. Manjaro/KDE is my distro and desktop environment of choice.
@@Twylight85 Just got an extra SSD, so I will install Linux onto that. But yeah, a lot of the issues are down to the fact that I was running inside a virtual machine, whilst locally on an SSD I would have a much smoother ride.
for your nex try i would really reccomend LMDE 6 (linux mint debian edition), it is extremely stable and easy to use, and has non of the snap pack closed source nonsens. If you wanna say "i use arch btw" but dont wanna go thru the terminal based installation you can go with endeavouros, it makes some alterations to make it more user friendly and has a gui package manager out of the box unlike arch linux.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll keep those in mind for the next Linux video! :D
This year in June I tried switching to Linux and the result is that I haven't used Windows since. I got myself a stick with Arch Linux, I just used the archinstall script and boom, all done. I can definitely recommend it since it is a blast gaming on it, everything on Steam works out of the box, the rest I was able to get going with Lutris. I mean all except the titles with kernel level anticheat, but I wouldn't bother playing it anyway. I've also gotten used to programming on it.
Oh nice! Arch Linux's terminal is a bit hard to use at first, especially when trying to install the OS, but yeah I've heard Arch is pretty much the go to (alongside Mint)
@@ThatBritishSnep Basically if you run the install script then you don't have to do anything except select what you want to install and that is it. After the installation you will boot directly into the graphical user interface already. You can test it on a VM, it is very simple.
@@MartinWoad I'll look into that, especially for the next Linux video. Thank you!

Space Cadet was a great game. Oh the fun we all had before social media became mainstream!
Well, thanks for making me feel super old, haha. The only things that this video needed in order to be totally perfect would be an Unregistered Hypercam 2 watermark and the royalty free trance music that RUclips used to have back in the day.
