Donna Noble's my favorite companion 100% and Tennant played the best Doctor in the modern era. 6. The only classic I've fully watched. 9. Was my favorite for a while. 15. Both Gatwa & Gibson are great. 14. The specials were pretty weak. 11. Made me quit watching Who. Not a fan of Amy, Rory or River Song.

I read an article somewhere during the transitional period between sex education and doctor who. Ncuti was thinking of changing his actor nane. He mentioned that his Aunt said something that was super moving and powerful. She said along the lines of don't you dare. She continued to say if people can remember Idris Elba they will remember Ncuti Gatwa.

Sadly I understand the dislike to the current era. It’s not Ncuti or Millie it’s more what it’s leaving behind in writing style Russel used to be more ruthless with his writing I understand the cater to new audiences part however what’s been done successfully in the past over 12 or so episodes hasn’t been able to be done in the current 8 format. Yes the quality in terms of cgi are better except the last episode with the vortex seeming under rendered and pixelated we are left with underwhelming writing a story that feels like it needed in double the episodes of build up all making it feel rushed and a let down

It was OK but really should have been stronger.

What are your thoughts on this finale?

I have watched ROTJ more times than any movie. Practically wore out the VHS in the 90's. Leia in the space stripper outfit probs is what did it for me lol. Luke as a Jedi Master with the Green saber. But also the duel between Luke and Vader overseen by Palpatine. But I concede that my dad always hated the Ewoks and took the first two films more seriously than the finale.

What are your thoughts on Return of the Jedi?

I kind of like the Shalka. They had an interesting design and set of abilities. I always wanted them to appear on TV.

Would love Big Finish to bring him back.

LOL no-one is going to buy this. Shittaker and Mandippy were just two of the reasons Chibby's era failed so hard. Other reasons were the bad writing and bad everything else. Including cast.
