Here's a real easy way to tell what you can do at night. Look at Morgana's position in your room. If he's on all fours, you can go out. If he's sitting, you can do stuff around the cafe. If he's laying down, you have no choice but to go to bed.

I love Maruki. His character is what makes Royal so special. The conversations he has are designed to really make you think about some of the implications of using the Metaverse. Also, you HAVE to max him out before he leaves or you won't unlock the Royal content. So keep that in mind.

So I see you're playing on Ninakoru's balance patch. I can tell because vanilla SoE would have alchemy spells be usable without having to wait for the stamina meter to recharge. I made my own balance patch in the interest of better balance and depth.
