After making some changes to the configuration of my fx impact I take it out to test the new ammo and barrel length and end up making a sweet shot on a pair of starlings.

I take my Howa 6.5 Creedmoor to the range and stretch its legs out to 800 yards and 1 mile! Plus my thoughts on my current setup for long range.

What's your holds/dial for 800 and 1 mile? I shoot a calibre that matches 6.5 creed pretty well out to 500M, but falls off a bit after that so I'm interested to compare.
Mine calls for 5.9 MILs at 800 and I ended up going with 21.7 for the mile. I use the Hornady 140 eldm’s and they’re going 2693 fps.
Well done. I also shoot Howa 1500 and EP5 combo. Would recommend the Area 419 hellfire break. You'll notice the improvement.

Love it how non hunters who are detached from nature get angry when people participate in thw circle of life, and always assume malice. Those are invasive birds. Nature shaped you to hunt and kill animals. Spesifically to run down other animals but also to use projectiles. Thats who you are.

European starlings are invasive and can be hunted year round. Not that it would make a difference. They aggressively outcompete native species.
