Starting 35th on the grid and 5th in class after my teamate was taken out in the previous race a strong climb through the field for a 2nd in class after some robust defending from the leader. New lap record for a 924 around Brands GP of 1:50.5

Could you please make another comparison video rF2 x ACC x AC? There were updates in physics for first two titles during past year. I think rF2 got better in terms of overdriving penalty, but it is also car dependent in my opinion. I recommend to compare Ferrari 488 GT3 at Laguna Seca. It is the official content in all these sims (except for rF2 Laguna Seca, where there is a wonderful laserscanned version mod of this track).
Just acc a few weeks ago and using a wheel with no ffb I've had to turn down all my sounds except for tires. I spent hours and hours of spinning out on spa but finally can keep pace the game is awesome I play it on ps4 so it's only 30fps small price to pay for a little realism. Definitely getting me a decent wheel. My wife s gonna kill me when she sees how much money I spent lol
Well, SMS didn't really fulfill your wish, didn't they? (Although I like the fact that there is a new game that will introduce NFS gamers to a more sim-like experience)
Hey David great vid, but do you have any plans to update the video to reflect the new 5 point tyre model?
Thanks for the feedback. Good idea, I’ll look into it. I think ACC has overtaken AC now in terms of physics, it would be good to put my up to date thoughts in a new video.
Driving round and round on tracks is boring. I want to see a game like Forza Horizon 4 with these Physics...
R FACTOR IS THE KING.
@@michaelalexson8359 how old are u?how long do u drive a real car?any motosport expirence?i tryed out Ac its solid sim,but r factor just has that real feal to it,its l3ss polished more complicated than Ac yes,it demands more time it demands lots of adjustments but when u get there u will know why. u should try it spend lots of time with it and u will know.sory for bad english and cheers from Sarajevo
@@michaelalexson8359 once again, spend some time in rf.itis just better simulator, ffb the way car handlles and transfers weight the sense of speed and conection with road and car and it has somwthing special they call it tyre flex model and its great stuff.
@@michaelalexson8359 hey litlle man,i teard my tyres in real life so maney times i dont nead to do that in r factor or ac.tyre weear off ac or r factor and hotlap or time attack. r factor is just better sim and i understand u have hard time to accept it and im not here to argue with u so find somebody other to bother and find yourself answers boy.
Fear?real thing?arcade?hhahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahagahagagaggagahahaahhahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahahahahaha.litlle man u are litlle bit crazy.
Great video! I have some experience in racing (almost 10 years with caterhams & radicals), and rfactor 2 for me, is incredibly close to real life racing, chassis flex, amazing FFB etc. ACC is my second choice, great sim also, but the cars feel stiffer. That's only my opinion! Thank you for your effort.
Interesting about the inaccuracies PC2. Hopefully Reiza will improve on it.
i believe you have traction control and maybe hevent changed the ffb settings in rf2 because in rf2 even the paint effects your grip and hitting the curbes in some cars is almost imposible if you are a little to agrassive
Hi Peter, TC is definately off but in terms of grip levels this maybe due to the particular car I was driving. Which car and circuit would you recommend to get the best RF2 experience?
@@DavidHornsey in the f1 cars you can feel the grip loss over the curbs ik what tracks are the best
Interesting to see a guy with an experience with Pirelli GT-slicks making basically exactly the same findings than I do with my quite limited real life experiences. AC teached me to use too V-shaped lines because of the entry understeer where ACC improved a lot on that. In ACC I'm kinda riding the limit instead of overdriving a bit and dealing with the understeer/oversteer. Carrying the momentum would probably be a better way to say it. Not because I'm afraid of the oversteer because you basically only need to drop the rear just a little and the 911 Cup becomes a pussycat on that regard. In general I'm not struggling with the oversteer on any car in ACC where my responsive and powerful hardware might come in handy. That said, ACC is definitely on the more punishing side of sims which I find as a breath of a fresh air in the genre which seems to make overly forgiving tyres these days. Like you said, Sector 397 with rF2 being one of them. I actually think that's the worst example of the trend. But it surely makes every living room race car driver like me feel like a driving god. Because it just never bites you and it rotates when you just flick the steering wheel. 🙂 Thanks for the video! Enjoyed watching it. 👍🏻
Ville-Samuli Mutanen Thanks for the feedback.
Remove the stability control and tration control in the RF2 options and adjust the ffb. You will have the best experience e ver by far.
Thanks for sharing yours simulator and your experience . The only complaint about this vid is the sound. I settled my volume at max and i have some difficulties to hear you .
Thanks for the feedback. I’m hopefully improving with each video but please let me know of any other issues you find.
This is really insightful, great to hear somebody’s perspective who has rl experience!
Really informative analysis, I’m a big fan of both AC and ACC but I’d be interested in you’re opinion of RF2.
Keith White Thanks for the feedback. Good idea, I’ll do an RFactor 2 video soon.
What was the lap time?
What was the car ?
I stopped it ^^ About 1:24.37
A useful guide to the 200, TVM.
thanks for the tips, see you tomorrow ;)
David what camera do you use.
Thats a well driven 924, too bad about the car contact, i guess there were some discussions at the pit later ...
I'm looking to do my first race at Brands in June with you guys in BRSCC Porsche champs - then maybe Rockingham and/or Donington subject to finances - and building number of rounds each year as much as i can afford to - but am also considering the odd guest round in CSCC FCs as a possibility - especially if I can pair up with an experienced racer to help accelerate the learning curve! Does it get frustrating with more powerful cars cruising by - or is there always someone with similar power to
Congrats on class win. How does racing in CSCC future classics compare to BRSCC porsche champs? RM ;)
Great action, much better to be on board than in the pits!
what car you runnin guys. sounds meaty!!
