it just occurred to me that "if you can give someone something" near the end is part of the same statement as "you cant see the radiant light/you cant hear the beautiful chants/you cant feel the tender warmth". Its a direct answer to the previous "can you" questions we've been hearing. Bedman can still give someone something, he can go to his sister, and that earthly attachement is what prevents him from staying on/within/going into the circle which we can take as something like Nirvana. You cant achieve Nirvana if you still care about the earthly realm so here at the end, waking from his stupor at the edge of death/transcendence Bedman denies the question, his answer is no, he cannot move on, he is still needed, still bound. He still has something to give.
