I love this 'theme-beneath-the-theme' of transcending oneself in half-life and it's best fan-content. The grandiose music isn't there just to be big; it's there because Barney, pushed to the limit, is becoming someone far beyond the man that walked into his shift that morning.

Woah, I didn't realize this was finished. The Xen Relay is what makes local teleportation in HL2 possible. If Barney never activated it... well.. I shudder to think what the combine would have done without that carrot on the stick.

This song playing once you reach the Relay and continuing to loop as you explore the area and solve the puzzles is such a vibe. Like another comment said here, it's both equal parts fulfilling (you finally reach the relay after 6 maps) and foreboding, as if you've stumbled upon something ancient that shouldn't be disturbed... I also really love how you weave together all your songs with the common Focal Point theme.

IDK for sure but I think this chapter might be longer than Black Mesa's Interloper, but with way more gameplay variety and IMO overall higher difficulty since you can't just steamroll controllers with a gluon gun, and Captive Freight felt about as long as Surface Tension.
