More experimenting this time using android tablet, usb webcam software engaging the ip camera server option, then http protocol in chrome captured as window in obs. This is all preliminary test to see how remote broadcasting would work outside my home network e.g. convention floor.

Yes agree. But there are options that can be used with berthier as a background 'skin' architecture email me at imagineimage@comcast.net let's talk
If only Berthier had been based on hexes; not squares. If only.

Cool!
More need to be commenting about this great system.
Appreciate the feedback. It's the only system we use for all eras, now including Hex Command NOVA ... our version of Battletech.
Loving this series of videos.
Excellent. Great channel.
Scenario document link: app.box.com/s/p324s7gwft7geiiacwriw7jgemthd575 Note: this is not the battle of Bull Run (1st Manassas); the map of the primary battle area is the only historical relevance.
This video albeit lengthy, demonstrates in real time the playing of a game in Hex Command Gunpowder on a 2x2ft gaming area. The benefits of this size game table are proving to be substantial.
Very nice I will apply this to my roads on my Battletech terrain. Thank you much.
Sounds great, interesting mix of hitorical pictures and game vid...
Great video. Really like how you the battle map looks with that Creek/river.
Thanks! The roads and rivers are all cut from Foamies craft foam and now that I have a Cricut machine, the juntions, forks, intersections and more are now all highly accurate. It could very well be that I am going to stop using all other purchased roads and rivers because with this tech, I can cut exactly what is laid out in a hex map. Amazing results.
Imagine Image Multimedia Clever Idea. I'm getting into 20mm Acw and I realised I do just generally need roads and rivers like for all my 20mm stuff. I was planning to make them out of cereal boxes, paint them and put pva glue over the river pieces to give it a water type shine. Do you have any videos/ideas on making terrain?
I do and there are tons here on RUclips as well. After 40+ years of war gaming, with now much of it devoted to hexagon grids, I can tell you the biggest issue is getting roads and rivers to line up properly with hexagons just like in so many board games that use hexagons. Now that I have a Cricut Maker machine, I can cut exactly the shapes needed for any instance. The issues however are that roads and rivers made of light materials can move around, which I solved with simple dble sided Scotch tape put down on the fabric gridded surface. You can cut from simple construction paper as well. It all starts with the maps and how they are created then replicated on the gaming surface. To do that, I am moving forward with projecting an image down onto the gaming surface. This spring, I'll post more videos and show to do that. Look for more information at imagineimage.org
I subscribed to your channel because I play lots of table top games and love new ideas for terrain and products...Thanks again
