Hi, I'm Jeff Fudge and I'm passionate about AWS. I've been an AWS user for about 8 years, and I continue to be amazed at how difficult it is to keep up with the pace of AWS innovation. I'm a cloud practice director by day, and I also run three AWS user groups and I'm an AWS Community Builder. I strongly support community tech.

@@koraa4you925 I used my debit card and created an AWS free-tier account. I had to use it for educational purposes only so after my work was done, I set it for deactivation. Beware, even free-tier plans on AWS can cost you a whole lot for using services (based on duration or specifications) that are outside the free plan. Make sure you know what you are doing at all times and also delete/close unnecessarily active services. Luckily I was very careful and just had to pay $0.01 as the monthly bill. Some of my friends had their bills in the range of $1000 - $10000. According to my experience you can be charged for the most ridiculous of reasons (like protecting your cloud buckets from unauthorised requests which generally aren't in your control) so again, be careful if you intend to use the services.

how can I build a damn website if I have to host a huge server secretly at a library, since ec2 and gcp can't give me non credit card access which is terrible management, no wonder their employees complain constantly and piss at their desks, can't even install vm player here lmao

Hi Jeff, thanks for the video! Question: I opened an aws account a year ago but never used it much, but now, I need to start learning. Can I open a new aws account, same name, same credit card BUT different E-mail and still be eligible for the free tier? The internet community is divided on this issue.

What is the limit of console?
Not sure what limitations you are referring to, but from an overall perspective, I believe the console is a great for visibility over your AWS environments, and for provisioning resources from a test or proof of concept perspective. But when you move beyond that into approved designs, I believe deployment should be via Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) and not provisioned via the portal (too much risk for human error and a potential lack of consistency).

Hi, thanks for this helpful playlist, if I Study and prepare for the exam from this series, is that enough?
After watching the series, it is always recommended to take one or more practice tests. You can find free practice tests, and there are paid versions. Taking practice tests allows you to understand how the questions will be phrased on the test, and helps you understand what aspects of AWS you need to study a little more. But yes, I am designing this series to cover everything you need to know to pass the test, and I review many different training offerings to ensure that I am not leaving out anything you would need to know. Hey Yousef - keep in mind that my series won't be complete within a month (I have many modules to add), so I would encourage you to find other training sources if you already booked your exam. Keep in mind that free exams likely have less scrutiny than paid test exams, but should still give you an edge.
