How to Understand the Controls on ANY EQ
Просмотров 234 года назад
EQ is a very daunting subject to anybody who’s starting to get into audio production. Not only do you have to understand what EQ is and how it works, but you also might find yourself having to navigate different EQs that have different interfaces and could confuse you. Some have a bunch of knobs, some have visual representations of the EQ curve you’re using, and some have both. In this video, I...
How to Use Special Effects in Rock & Metal Music
Просмотров 3304 года назад
In this context, when I refer to special effects, I’m talking about relatively subtle post-production effects, including risers, downers, impacts, etc. All of these things are fantastic for adding that extra bit of polish to your productions, and for guiding the listener through your music. Want to build suspense? Use a riser. Want to make an intense part even more intense? Use an impact! Here'...
How to Compress Vocals In Any Genre
Просмотров 224 года назад
Vocal compression is probably the most critical part of vocal production. You could have the most ideal EQ settings for the vocal that you’re working on and the performance could be top notch, but if its dynamics are all over the place then it will definitely sound pretty off. That's why I decided to share how I compress my vocals in pretty much every mix using the Waves CLA-76 and an SSL Chann...

3 Mistakes That Are Making Your Mixes Sound Amateur
Ok but where did you pull that amp from, you didn’t show where you got it!! I don’t see any amp in my ableton 10
It might've been a new feature in Ableton 11, I'm not sure. If you google it and find that you should have it, I'd contact Ableton Support. Good luck!
@ yeah it says 10 standard doesn’t come with it, I have 11 but I’m too lazy to update it lol!!
Is no one gonna talk about the guitar solo from 1:55 ? (I dont know the technichal term so km justvcalling it a solo)
I think we have the same pickups lol
tabs?😢
You look awfully a lot like a guy that broke up with his girlfriend…
... wow sick burn
@@JulianWorden No no no I meant you look like Ronnie McNutt
This worked for me, thanks! I happen to have two interfaces. Some other solutions on RUclips were too complicated and required installing other software, etc.
The amount of hours and days I spent trying to get voicemeter to work.....Absolute Hell
So relatable lol
Hi can you make a video on how to host Cubase in pro tools?
If that's possible (I don't think it is) I have no idea how that would work. Sorry!
As a former Cakewalk user, I'm interested in getting back into music composition for my online media platform. I'm looking for a DAW that lets me compose using sheet music notation rather than piano roll. Cubase seems like a good option with its built-in notation capabilities, and Pro Tools integrates well with Sibelius. Being away from music for so long, I'll have a lot to catch up on, especially with modern audio hardware. To create electronic, new age, and ambient music, I'll need recommendations on audio interfaces, mixers, instruments (both virtual and physical), and plugins (synths) suitable for a solo composer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
been looking for this video!
I’ve been looking for something better than that voice meter stuff. This video was super helpful! You saved my bacon dude 🙏
Can you explain the step before getting it to sound like that, i mean how do you manage to use GGD and slate trigger at the same time if you get what i'm mean ? thanks !
They all sound hideous
So thank you! You really say something important that most of the producer won't talk about or mention about.
Ненормальный какой то , своими кривляниями песню испортил
0:38 Did he burn his right hand because of this fire riff?
Yes
Thanks for this! I am using NadIR with NAM (no cab of course) and immediately set my Lo Pass and Resonance values to the correct values!
This is really impressive. It's noticeable that you love this song. Just by hearing this cover I can tell you don't even need the autotune. Do more DGD. You can definitely nail the entire DTBM2 album no problem
Bro i love the energy you had through this entire cover. Absolutely incredible. Made me love this song more than i already do. Great cover, brother.
do you have tabs for 6 strings?
🤙🏽
I tried and sound horrible the stock plugins for metal
Thanks for this my computer I used Ableton on died and it was a gifted copy so I'm trying to learn Music Maker because it was on sale xD.
Nice
Beautiful
Needed this
Is it possible to make guitar riffs without owning a guitar? Like with midi or something?
it is, search yt
Dude who the fuck are you… This is insanely good. This is from 5 years ago you better of absolutely taken off by now.
The difference is Libra has the ability to combine up to 8 IR's within one plugin. Which you will definitely hear a difference and be able to create something different from everyone else.
Tuning? Love your cover man!
Drop a
Almost no difference. Through a smartphone though I thought I heard less mids in the Libra. Barely noticeable.
Perfect. Guitar +++ all
but where is the amp thing at the beginning? im super new to ableton
I installed cause i've always used (FL User) "Fruity Reeverb 2" and im disappointed. Its just too much, i mean its named SUPERMASSIVE but i just wanted to make my vocal sound less dry and than i installed this xD at lest i've got less reeverb but it doesnt sound better than the stock plugin. Nevertheless i thank you for this detailed tut. ;)
sorry for my bad english :/
there's another one called Fenrir you didn't try. It doesn't have many features but it's transparent and you can blend two together and save them as a new IR
I've tried just about all of them and I still use NadIR. Reaper also has a built IR loader called 'reaverb' --it's intended for verb IR's but cab IR's also work.
It's all about workflow. Ableton live since 2012 for everything but now I need more control over my mixes, because I can get things done faster, so Cubase is allowing that workflow to be so much easier. Ableton live is completely possible to mix massive projects but it's tedious. Lately when I finally tried Pro tools, I was hooked on the mixing side.
nice video. thanks.
Broooooo My goood
amazing bro!
Great cover and nice nails (:
Great job man!
Looks like Garrett, kinda sounds like Garrett (everyone's different!). Checks out.
i love that shirt, and i love the amity as well!
I'm a little late here. In reference 4:13 to 4:54 , in Pro Tools, you can click on the output of a track, select "New Track" at the bottom of the dropdown menu and create an aux.You can also name it .This will assign all selected tracks to newly create AUX.
Rad dude, actually my favourite Counterparts song, this came out really good though dude - nice job!
Hello man! I've been dreading going into learning a daw, I have ideas and melodies floating in my head and in my sound notes, but no skills to translate that into the daw, and I was pretty overwhelmed. Your tips helped me gain some clarity and calm😃Thank you! I see you're not posting videos anymore, I hope you're doing well in life!
I used protool all my life and absolutely hate it. I been a cubase pro user for just as long and now only use slowtools when at commercial studios... and sometimes not even then. lol. Couple things I do to get that "heat" tone on cubase is the built in channel magento. Its on every channel super flexible and takes no cpu. Also to get that sound I will run Waves NLS on groups. Maybe give it a go and stay in one daw
what do u think of the zilla cab thing
time index please
