I love the wheels that come on the XRC. That 10 bolt pull plate and the double shear rear knuckles were both added in the 2022 model year. You really get alot of nice extras in the XRC the aluminum roof and the OEM lower radius rods are also higher clearance vs an RS model. The OEM skidplate is also notably thicker than the RS model as well. Tons of fun ahead for you good luck with that thing.
2022 and up is double shear ** as well as the ten bolt plate on the rear . And old men drive smart shocks .
I like buttons and needless to say you enjoy pushing buttons of your own.

@@vc3buildzz yea it’s really easy actually, just pull the coolant lines off the snout , remove the supercharger pulley belt , supercharger lid than remove the remaining bolts, there is a sensors on the back side ( fire wall side ) of the supercharger you need to unplug as well

Great review! I've heard the engine/6-speed transmission combo in yours is pretty solid. A lot of people want the 10 speed, but if it is anything like Ford's, it'll be great short term, maybe not so good long term. Did Allison or GM make any changes to the 10 speed? It was a joint effort with Ford.
Yea your correct it was a joint effort, I am unaware of any changes I will look into that as I’m interested now but I have no complaints with my 6 speed I love this truck ! Thanks for the comment

Very nice truck. Man you're a smart dude. If you ain't making money hauling and towing long distances,it don't make much sense to buy a diesel truck. The 6.6 gas engine is plenty for most folks.
For sure , it’s served me well so far , I only pull far once a month and other than that my boat to the water is less than a mile so it works for me. Thank you for the comment
I went to a Silverado 6.6 gasser unveiling and you are spot on the engineers designed the engine to be quite with towing in mind. This is a high reved engine so long towing hauls a loud gas exhaust would create fatigue. Good assessment 👍🏻 Sometimes it’s nice to leave it stock. Engine’s today’s are so sensitive and have been tuned to work best with factory equipment.

The payload is exactly what I like. I don’t need to tow more than 10k. But with the wife and kids, and two big dogs, and tools, luggage etc it adds up. Most similarly equipped rams get about 2900-3000. So seeing 3500lbs of payload on your sticker is insane.
Yes i agree the payload is crazy , the rams I believe still have coils in the rear , Chevy and ford have leaf springs with hurts ride Quality but increases payload
