Blooming heck the Stonor "Deer run".We called it that because one time we did it a stag and five of his ladies run across the track and tried jumping the fence,it was chaos.On a clear run that down hill is epic.

A big thank you for this.My friends and I used to love this trail,we regularly rode it in all weathers and all the surrounding trails in Explorer map 171 about twenty years ago.Ive long since moved from Buckinghamshire and the trails we loved,but seeing that descent on film made my day and brought back some happy memories,the long slog up to North End was a challenge though.😃

It’s not the ride that makes this hardcore. Not by any means. It’s the fact he’s on top a mountain in north Wales with no bloody gloves on! Wow it’s cold up there almost all year round with a breeze. Hats off to u pal👍🏻

I fail to see what any kind of comparison between these two bikes brings to the fold? One is powered, the other isn't?! I'm not against e-bikes in any way shape or form may I add. It's just a ridiculous comparison. One (a powered bike plus a rider) is capable of generating far more motive power than the other. No comparison.

How difficult are the stages? From the video it doesnt look extremely rocky but its hard to tell. Would you say that a fairly experienced rider could handle this?

Not a very good comparison as the e bike got slowed down on the up hill an the down hill .Intresting heart rates though .

I love this run, in particular on a nice summer evening after work. 2.5 hrs up and back down is my best! Never had any negative comments from walkers, only encouragement so it's a shame to see people hating on this video in the comments. A minority seem to have a sense of ownership of the mountains in Snowdonia. I'm sorry but I will continue to shred them on my bikes until I am old and unable. Great vid.
