Hi. TRBs, in my knowledge are mostly made in Japan but some are made in Indonesia and Taiwan (probably in other countries too). Tone is subjective - I like the tone one can get out of them. They are versatile.

Thanks a lot man. So I record with logic. This is what I typically do. - remove the bass from the original track and then record in logic.. - after recording I try and adjust gain levels for all the tracks (other, drums, voices and bass) ~ the general mix. - Then literally apply Eq (high pass for voices for an example and so) on the tracks. - Once all sorts of sounds good I then focus on bass. - I apply the stock logic bass amps and pick the one that works well for the song. Twig it a bit - Apply a compressor if needed - sometimes I apply a guitar pedal (stock plugin) forgot the name just to beef up the bass And that's literally it I hope it makes sense.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hey, yes it can be played on a 4 string but would not sound exactly as here. This is due to the 4’s low range - no B string. I haven’t tried to play it on a 4 honestly. However I do believe one can try and play it on a 4.🙏🏽
