Amazing, thanks for sharing
Is that liquid blue? the flash clean I mean I have a bottle from last year but I'm not sure if it's ok, it's kinda blue
Looks delicious. On a personal note, I have a background in medicine and as I was looking at your eyes, I noticed something that most people would not have noticed. You might have a hyper active thyroid. There are some fairly new medications that can not only help your thyroid but can also reverse the effects on your eyes. You may want to ask your doctor about them and see if they are right for you. The longer you wait the more damage to your eyes will happen. You are a handsome man, it would be a shame to let it go.
How much dry weight did you get from 1.8kg?
It's a good question, and one that I'm not sure on honestly. I have 1 bag left from that batch, and I think it is from one drying rack. It weighs 95g. There was a total of 4 racks in the dehydrator. Next time I'll weigh them up after! Hope this helps
It does! Thank you, and nice video :)
Looks really great 👍 How many times/how long per hour where you're planning to cycle that output fan? As you know Lion's many require quite low CO2 levels. I first grew mushrooms with manual FAE, but i bought Inkbird CO2 controller 😁 You don't need that to grow mushrooms, but it took out the guesswork for me. Edit. I saw your video from the Lion's mane harvest. They looked great 😊 Cheers, Keep growing.
Thanks for the comment. I actually changed my extraction fan settings again in this latest vid: ruclips.net/video/5dGHly83lFk/видео.html Moisture was building up on the floor of the tent, and mushrooms not looking as happy as they could be. It now runs for half an hour every 2 hours, and seems to have made a big difference.
WHAT A HANDSOME FACE!!!
Haha thanks man!
its blotch 100% Sure
Oh yeh? On the top of the Lions Mane? The tent is getting a deep clean after this batch anyway.
Could be too much moisture settling on the Lion's Mane from above. Do you monitor CO2? I would not vacuum seal any fresh product. Dehydrate, freeze-dry, bring to near freezing, or then reduce moisture sautee and freeze.
Oh from above! dripping from the tent I guess. That makes sense. Thanks for the suggestion. I've upped the extraction time as you may have seen, so fingers crossed that helps.
And yes, lesson learned the hard way (4kg hard) re vacuum packing. Thought it was a great plan and got carried away.
BEAUTIFUL! Who doesn't like some mushroom p@rn at 6am! ❤
Haha! glad you enjoyed it.
Best recipe for oil Preserved Roasted red bell peppers. I wonder if there is a way to sun dry those peppers then preserve them in oil, but without the skin. Thx for sharing. ❤❤❤ I definitely going to try. Need to find when they are in season, here in South Florida
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like it. It would be a great experiment to sundry them before preserving. Peppers are fairly easy to grow indoors all year.
I use your brine recipe to pickle my caps only. I do not store them in the oil. They taste amazing
That sounds great!
Air going out means air going in, so you might consider a simple heat exchanger during winter, or grow species that produce heat. You are correct, mushrooms do use light to fill out, for shape, and to express more intense color. Im in Turku Finland and in the process of my own build, in case you are ever in the area and wish to talk hydroponics/aquaponics/mycoponics
Thanks for the tip. Yeah your right about the air leaking, the entire room is slightly misty at the moment! What species produce heat? It would be great to bounce ideas and setup tips off another winter grower. Drop me an email if you like and we can talk further. Good luck with your setup.
That is a coliflower 😂😂😂😂
Haha! It's the same size for sure!
just skibbed through and saw you are using bio bizz products. these could cause problems in hydroponic, cause they are organic
Yeh right thanks for the comment. Why do they behave like that though? Is it to do with the oxygenation?
They look so fluffy and cute 😅
Haha they really are, and they feel amazing too!
Those are beautiful! What lighting are you using? I have a Martha tent with small LED strips but not sure its quite enough blue light. What is your substrate mix. I'm using Oak and wheat bran but only get smaller than baseball size Lions.
Thanks! I have my Full Spectrum LED strips in the tent, 12 on 12 off, they are 110 cm long, and plenty bright for the grow tent. Link to details: www.amazon.se/urbangrow The bags come from a company called Eco Fungi, and I believe they use wood burning Pellets for substrate. Now I know the conditions are good I'm hoping to ramp up production! One thing that helped me and my power bill was that they are happy to grow all the way down to 14 degrees celcius! Good luck with your future grows! Check out the timelapse also: ruclips.net/video/akbsieIra20/видео.html

Si ça jaunie au dessus c'est parce que les led sont trop prêts...rien avoir avec la maturité.
Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind for future grows.
Great directions, same flavor I’ve gotten in jar from store, love making my own! Already used on my panini sandwiches w slice of roasted chicken and swiss cheese, just perfect, thank you so much💞
That's great to hear! Glad you enjoyed them.
Best recipe I’ve seen yet. Makes sense.
Wow, thanks!
I envy you , yo made an excelent work, hope all comes along.
Thanks, I hope so too!
I want one but you don't ship to USA. It would go great with my gorilla grow tent. Stick with the gorilla theme
Drop me an email and I'll happily check the shipping rates! Growrilla Power!
Does it fit in a 80x80 tent?
I think that would be a bit tight. A 90 x 90 would be better. The board in the video is on top of a standard pallet 80 x 120 for reference.
Beautiful plant. Well done
Many thanks
Hey, was the problem yours, that you did something wrong, or was it the system itself because something failed? It would be good to know this because I'm currently thinking about getting the Growilla. If the system is prone to failures, I would probably switch to Alien.
Hej, This was completely my fault! The Growrilla equipment in my opinion is great quality, and at a great price point. Nothing wrong with their RDWC system at all. It is waiting for another run as I type! Good luck with your coming grow.
Hello, could you please tell me what kind of pepper this is? I have the same looking one right now and I am struggling to identify it as I do not have any fruit yet 😢
Hello, yes they are 'Olly F1' Peppers from Nelson Garden here in Sweden. Good luck with your grow! Is it DWC Hydroponics?
well done x
Thanks!
Have you experimented with aeroponic instead of hydro ? I see lots of people do hydro but aero sound like a much better principle by letting the roots get oxygen.. There a more part involve and things can clog more, might not be worth the extra maintenance
I haven't tried Aeroponics before no. Your right it does seem like an interesting growing alternative. There are a few kits available for an easy start i think, I'll check it out. Thanks for the thought!
Call it a stem....not a stalk.
Thanks for the correction.
Wow. You sure use a lot of unnecessary pans!
Haha yeh perhaps!
i found it could also be the humidity too high or too low too
This could well be a factor, thanks for the thought. There is a large fan in the room which moves a lot of air, and the tent door is open at the top for now. Will check back on it asap, and have a look. Fingers crossed its stable.
@@TheGrowZone hope to hear how u got on
Update vid, plant is thriving! ruclips.net/video/VYJASqCVXTg/видео.html
get a blue labs pH meter if you are serious about hydroponics... those cheap ones will just drive you mad. also, get a proper grow light.
It is a cheaper pH meter for sure, but I do trust it. Calibrated it not that long ago. The LED strips have been great actually, an experiment of sorts on the frame of the tent for sure. Confident it will work though, and soo much more room to work in the tent! They are plenty bright enough. Keep an eye out for updates.
Hi…..what size is the fermentation jar used please? I’m going to start but the local shop has a killer 5 litre which I think is too big for two people? Thank you.
The fermentation Jar is 3 litres. In my fermenting journey, I would say the bigger the jar the better! I have a bit of something fermented with most meals. Good luck with your batch.
Thanks for the video. May I ask why you don't adjust/lower your pH to around 6? Does it naturally balance for you with time? Or is it because this grow was coming to an end?
Hej! Yes your exactly right. Shortly after we shifted the plant over to Ripen from Terra Aquatica, then we harvested the Peppers. Also do keep in mind, your pH can range from 5.5 - 6.8. For Peppers in my experience above 6 is best. Good luck with your grow. Check out the playlist below: ruclips.net/p/PLFTXXQMrE2jM1PdLXLQsDkPYPQM6ZRWtn
Hey good Job..and iam new in dwc..and i was Read..that the water Must be lowsr and lower ...taller Tage roots lower or less water ?!
Thanks. Yeh the water required for refills will naturally become less as the roots get larger and fill up the pot. Just keep filling to the same level, just below the net pot and you'll be good. Good Luck!
If it's a bell pepper plant then it should be able to live several years in right condition
Yes your right, it was a sad day when we moved the plant on. We needed the tent for other applcations at the time and had no other home for it. It lives on in my compost. Stay tuned for another Bell Pepper grow with new Full Spectrum LED Strips. See link below: ruclips.net/video/opibRpKwWhE/видео.html
Seems like a superlight!
Thanks! Yeh I'm really happy with them. Make sure to check out the site for details and specs. urbangrow.se
Beautiful! 👊🏻🤘🏻
Thanks!!
Your pot looks to be made from aluminum. Is there any concern of unwanted flavors being transferred from the aluminum to the product?
Yes it is your right. It is a very old one that was left in my house when I bought it. Big though! I haven't had any trouble with mixes getting unwanted flavors or odors. Aluminum cook ware is fairly common, and very durable. Good luck with your Kimchi!
I dont find harvy 6 holder anywhere. Can you use the same product since it is basically same size on the corners for harvy 6, just with a longer LED light (80 cm) instead of 39 cm LED for harvy 3?
Hej @nemesis9378 there isn't a specific product to hold the longer Nelson LED's (60cm, 80cm). I remember testing it a while back and the 60cm being slightly to heavy for the Harvy 3 LED holder. The mechanism is sturdy, but it is still only plastic. There is a Window/tile hanger with suction cups and height adjustable chains though. See the links below to those, and my new LED's: Window Hanger: growzone.se/shop/leds/hanger-suction-cups-led-strips/ Urban Grow FS110: growzone.se/shop/leds/full-spectrum-led-grow-light-strip-fs110-110cm-ip65-samsung/
@@TheGrowZone Thank you for the answer. Yeah i have that suction cups available in the stores here, i was worrying about if it is strong enough to carry 80cm LED. It fits perfect in front of my window with Harvy 6. I was thinking that 80 cm LED is good since Harvy 6 is also around 80 cm. Maybe i should go for 60 cm which lighter for suction cups. It says suction cups can hold around 0,5 kg but not sure. Did you tried with long LED lights?
@@nemesis9378 The window hanger with suction cups is designed for the 60cm LED No.1 from Nelson. I haven't tryied it with the 80cm, but I think with a good clean service and good suction it will hold an 80cm. Good luck

This was delicious, never buying preserved peppers again, now doing my second batch!
bell pepers in the refridgerator
can you show how to do it
I'm a diabetic.. can I can these without the sugar? Or is the sugar needed to make the peppers safe for shelf storage?
The way I do them, is without sugar, they last many weeks, they are good. I put, white vinegar anger, some water to reduce the strong flavor,, garlic, parsley and olive oil, it have to been sumerge i the oil. I don’t keep in the refrigerator, cool, dark place. You can enjoy with crackers , with cheese On bread. The ones that I preserve for longer time I do it in water , and I can’t them. , hope it helps you
You don't need to brine them at all. You can do all of the steps aside from brining, place them in a jar with garlic, fill to the brim with olive oil.
I do my eggplants in a similar manner but I don't refrigerate I keep at room temp for a year
Wow, thanks for the comment. Good to know the preservation technique works so well!
You can close the peppers on a paper bag for them to steam. Works very well.
Thanks for the tips, I haven't grown any personally this year, but have friends with lots!
