I actually rode this bus today it was the bus fleet number 831 on 201A
Nice video of that MMC bus it was built to replace the 2008 buses though that retired in 2024

Metra leased the first 26 cars of the highliners fleet to the south shore line during the pandemic. It's the early 1200 series (1201-1226)

I'm going to REALLY miss these, They were the only ones in the fleet had stop request buttons in the middle of the bus joint. Very convenient.

@@ajaytransitproductions OCTA had their GMC RTS way after Long Beach Transit got rid of theirs in the 90's. I know why too. Democrat control of the environment. Green energy is wasteful, expensive, actually more harmful to the environment, and an elaborate excuse by rich, wealthy, private plane riding environmentalists, just to lobby government to control how we humans live. Last time I checked, a microchip isn't biodegradable.

@@tyhik9338 A few of the units in the 1000-1429 range are already rehabbed. CTA may touch some of the units in the 1430-1629 range but it’s not confirmed if any of those units have been rehabbed…. It’s the units that are in the 1630-2029 range that are being pulled in and out of service. Some of them are literally rusting to death due to their built structure.

My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🚈🚉🚝🚞🚋🚇🚅🚄🚃🚂🚊🛤 they're one of his favorite things in the whole world 🌎! He finds the South Shore Line's electric trains very interesting and thinks they are highly underrated rail transportation vehicles. He also thinks that the part of the Virginian Railroad that use to be electrified should be "reelectrified" and the part of the Milwaukee Road Pacific Extension as well and the departments of transportation should run these on them.

You’re referring to the bus company or the bus model? Because if you ask me, Pace in particular needs these on the 352.
