The tanh(x) formula that you used is incorrect, the form that you have results in -tanh(x) where x is the mB/tau

You are right. The sign was switched by mistake.🤓

Phenomenal explanation. Really in-depth and thorough, best of all you review concepts that may already be familiar to someone using the text so that we connect it with what we learned! Thank you so much for this series. I will be using you for QM and I'm hoping you'll do a series for an Electricity and Magnetism textbook as well!

Excellent teaching. No one can fully see all the mathematical transformations at the speed you are presenting it, unless one is already an expert. Since the videos are aimed at teaching students, a slower speed or breaking the videos into two parts would help. Thank you for putting in the time to help learners.

Thank you for watching! I appreciate the feedback✏️ In my own experience learning quantum mechanincs I found that simply seeing the solutions often made it click for me. The idea behind the videos then was to give people a quick and accessible set of solutions with verbal explanations to pause and ponder over. However I have had many comments about the excessive speed now, and will surely take it into consideration for future videos😄

You may also consider emphasizing areas where students tend to make mistakes, or miss some key points, because, as a beginner, it's not always clear how to set up the problems or which approach to take. Thanks again for the wonderful work!@@StepStudy

obviously, you could've also checked if A was hermitian, by checking if it was equal to it´s own hermitian conjugate. ie. the transposed and complex conjugated A is equal to A itself if A is hermitian. You would find, of course, that it isn't: A^† ≠ A

Quick comment: the “Henri poincaré sphere” is the wrong name. I confused the Bloch Sphere (correct name) with a similar concept from the field of optics concerning polarization States. Sorry
