I don't c what ppl have from benzion as a manhig. A rav is a person u have to be able to look up to and benzion may be a good manhig but not one that we can look up to as a person. On the other side of the coin, mordche duvid is a nice honest decent person! He didn't have to follow Beis din. They got an ikel and he could have ignored their psak but he decided to be decent and go along with it. Now that's what I call someone whom we cud look up to!

Benzion may be have good political advisors, but he's a spoiled brat wimp, that wants everyone to love him. He's the one that made the rift so much worse than it should've been. Unlike Satmar where most of the chassidim still talk and go to simchos of the other faction, in Bobov the hatred is much deeper, people don't talk, don't go to simchos, many don't step in the bihm"d of the other; all due to bratness of Benzion not willing to accept the fact that not everybody loves him.
