This brings back great memories. I was born and raised in Poole, and I remember these days well. They've been going on for decades. Fun fact; although Harry Paye was from Poole and sailed from there to commit most of his facts of piracy, he's actually buried at Shoreham Cemetery. The king's men had been chasing him up and down the South Coast for years, and they eventually caught him in the arms of a prostitute who had accepted a shilling to help ensnare him. Yep, even centuries ago they were using the honey trap! 😀😀😀

I was there with my family in 2015 as part of a bigger holiday (Cardiff is a long way from where I live). It was a great attraction - loads of cool stuff to see from all eras of Doctor Who. It's such a shame that it no longer exists. The exhibits were really interesting, but there was also an "experience" section with a walk through that we were urged not to talk about to try and keep secret what happened in there. No harm in doing it now, given that it no longer exists. There were a few different sections. One that I thought worked really well was a bombed-out and destroyed area of Skaro with several deactivated Daleks sitting around. Peter Capaldi came on the screens and told us the we needed to find a time crystal and one girl was volunteered to get it from one of the Daleks. Even though I knew what was going to happen, even though I could see the tracks on the floor, when the girl picked up the crystal and the Daleks started to activate with a faltering "ex... ter... min... ate... ex... terminate... exterminate... EXTERMINATE!" and moved forwards on their tracks, I was running out of there as fast as any of the kids. 😅 The only (very) mild disappointment was a section that had a bunch of weeping angel statues in a sort of spooky park. We walked through, and that was pretty much it. It would have been so cool to have had to re-visit the area only to find that all the angels had moved! It was still cool, but it could have been even cooler. But, yes, a great experience, lots to do and see, and lots of nice exclusive merchandise to buy. I still have several t-shirts from it. I didn't record any videos, but I still have lots of pictures. We were also lucky that the weather in Cardiff was lovely and we had a wonderful time for the entire visit (we also did a walking tour of significant Doctor Who filming locations in Cardiff). Like I said, it's just a shame that the Doctor Who experience itself no longer exists.

Pretty darn awesome archive that Andrew, got me wanting fish fingers and custard now!!! Nice work my friend, stuck in the house so catching up on my friends, keep going and keep growing :)

Fantastic video man, I visited here around 2017 sadly it never occurred to me to record the event so I don’t have any archive footage of it but I do know the venue closed down or I could be mistaken for the touchwood experience but it do bring back memories thanks for sharing your footage and once again keep up the fantastic work that you do 😎👍
