Hi from Manchester England - I owned 2 of these magnificent cars in the 1980`s. The 2.2 litre engine with the auto box was VERY quick and smooth. The huge seats like armchairs and very elegant as it wafted along - It will always be my favorite car!
The shot at 0:37 with the "Tagora SX" plated car outside a hotel that looks like its a Talbot promo must have been taken relatively recently as there's the nose of a fairly modern Merc next to it. That co-op V6 roars like a beast! Every time I see a gold one I think it's mine, except for the foreign plates. The ambulance impression at 2:40 gives an idea of what an estate would've looked like (if you lop the high top bit off).
Saw a couple of front grilles I've never seen on an SX. Love the touring cars one which I've never seen. A dealer said there were only 10 SXs sold here in North East England - 6 as Wimpy fleet cars, 3 as police cars (ran out of Cramlington when I lived there) and mine. Sunderland dealer said they exported a stretch. Would seem pointless to have a stretch of anything but the SX.
Got a Tagora SX which I've owned since 1986 laid up in the garage here in Ellington Village, GB, for lack of parts - a gold one like that at 1:30 on the video. Mods include a stainless steel exhaust and electric fuel pump. At one point had new doors and wings fitted with a complete respray but unfortunately with the British weather that didn't stop the rot! Magic car to drive except when slippery (165 bhp through the rear wheels is no good in ice or wet). Reg TRG 353Y Had 54 HOR on it too
We (a friend of mine and me) own the Talbot Tagora gls on 2:30 now. It is now on Dutch plates, imported to Holland. I also made a video on RUclips of this Tagora with now 107000 kilometers. I do also own a Talbot Solara Gls from 1981 , also 2 video s on youtube. You can find the video´s in my account if you´re interested in them

Bellissima macchina, ne cerco una da tanti anni ma si fa fatica a trovarla specialmente la 2.7 v6 prv sx tricarburatore.....
