Managed to get rid of the fuzzy / film grain but it took more than just getting turning it off. Settings at 1:09. Hate it or love it, this game is better than average but not great. The size of the world surprised me and at 4K OUTLAW mode, it kills the RTX 4090.

Feels like a game that's been done before a million times. At least the gun play is half decent. Like the Star Wars Outlaw, everything are based on tasks. It's fun for a few hours in between your go-to game. If you like Escape from Tarkov, the world will look very familar.

I thought pixel override in ODT was like supersampling with numbers to fill in between 1 to 2 (100% and 200%)...
with CSP and Pure is possible to have a "variable weather" during a GP? for example dry to rain or opposite?
@@Travelife2000 yes but i haven’t installed it, just testing out the mods to see what it does. it’s not bad but AC evo looks like most of the graphical add ons are built in. let’s see.
How many fps?
it’s basically - everything on max with FSR on balanced but you got to mod the dx11monitor.ini file and set the resolution when triple is enabled in game. so in my case, set width = 15360 and height = 2160. having said all that, i’m considering just going back to 3 x 32 inch 4K, easier to run natively on a 4090 without upscaling. have to admit FSR BALANCE looks perfectly fine. just look up on youtube on racing triple screen setup without nvidia surround. for in game settings, here it is ruclips.net/video/bry7sltTEno/видео.htmlsi=lONi0C6ZTKlhRYOT

How do you feel the FOV is on the main screen? I have a 57 and a 32 currently and considering adding a 32, but worried the main screen will make the dash super wide before I even get to the sides. Also how is your fps? I have a 4090 and even with my 57 and 32 I dropped into the 60s in fps solo on track in ACC.
@@justinmuntean7689 it’s perfect. feels like almost 80% scale to real world. i have the entire front dash and windscreen on the main screen and the side monitors just shows the side mirrors and door. I own the car i drive in ACC so I’m a little obsessed about how real i can get the game looks in terms of proportion, sense of speed and FBB feels at low and high speed. For me, pretty much all sim racing titles feels way faster compared to actually being on the track. FPS is fine and playable and i have a 4090 and 7800x3D powering the sim. I always use DLSS or FSR to get the FPS up and crank down the graphics a little. i use a custom SWRE profile to get ACC show up perfect across my monitors at 11560x2160. in my mind, with this insane resolution, 60fps is good enough, sure it puts the 4090 to its knees but that’s expected. it’s equivalent to running four 4K monitors! the fact it works is unbelievable. is it worth getting two extra 32 inch 4K display for the neo g9? i’m not sure, both side displays literally is there to show the side mirrors and the entire side windows to make side by side racing easier. the wrap around effect is cool and all but you could achieve the same with a pimax crystal. the reason this insane setup is for practising for my amateur track days. next for me for my rig is a proper motion kit but would get it until it’s cheaper.

Super.I also wait for crystal light which i ordered two months ago. I had reverb g2 and after broke i bought quest 3,which is not that good for simrace like g2 was.

thanks dude only posted this as a few people were wondering if it’s any good playing in 32:9 @ 7680x2160z. there just not many reviews of the game with those with a proper sim setup. Direct Drive and a wide FOV is a must but it all adds up quickly in terms of cost. tried VR and it’s trash with this game, and i had a few high end headset, they are not ready for prime time. 32:10 would be perfect. more vertical space.
Has anyone played this on an 8K display? Did it look clean, or were there compression artifacts? Would be a nice example for those who don't have the 57" to their disposal...

anti aliasing has to be off completely. and if you even try using fsr or dlss (even on my 4090) it looks even worst. i have no idea why people are saying the quest 3 is amazing. amazing in terms of price but definitely not great otherwise. i sold my quest 3 and just went double 4K as i was sick of working around the visual issues.
hi do you use quest link or virtual desktop? im using quest link and I ve problem with the immage, when i rotate my head i see the perspective deformated. thanks
just use oculus link and forget openxr. i have a 4090 and even that struggles with sim racing games. in Oculus debug tool, just set the bandwidth to 500Mbps bitrate any higher than 700Mbps, you will get the visual issues. in acc, set the graphics quality to medium. it should fix your problem. it took me forever to get a half decent visual quality but i gave up and sold the Quest 3 went with a 57 inch dual 4K setup for my sim rig. no more mucking around with settings. PCVR needs more time, too much software and hardware problems (USB C 3.2 has limited bandwidth). In my mind, when I play using a 4K monitor, hdmi 2.1 caps out at 48Gbps, with Oculus Quest Link, my Usb C caps out at 3.2Gbps… something along the way has to compress the original video signal and PCVR is rendering everything at a much wider FOV. no wonder performance across most Simracing games are subpar and doesn’t look great.

What fans are you using for those 280mm??
After 3 months of mucking about with all the tips and tricks, I found the optimal clarity using quest 3 for AutoMobilista 2. I have tried: Virtual Desktop SteamVR Oculus Debug Tool Oculus Desktop App OpenComposite This is where I have landed and it is so much better than straight out of the box. Connection: USB C cable method (5m) - Make sure you get one that supports data and power. Check your motherboard port - I have 1 USBC 20Gbps and when tested with Oculus USB Test, it could only reach 3.1 Gbps Note: I have tried having a dedicated WIFI7 router at 6Ghz band just for this VR. It's not bad (1200Mbps reported by the Quest 3 but I do get random visual artefacts and stutters. Dont get me wrong, it want to go all wireless but it's just not stable and the headset in wifi PCVR mode is not reliable. When it is working, it's great. For Automobilista 2, I ended using Oculus natively Oculus Desktop App: 1. Go to Devices, click on your headset and change the Rendering Resolution Get it as high as your system can support. I landed on 4480x2400 @ 120hz (powered by 4090 FE Card) 2. Go to Oculus Debug Tool, follow what this video says but I also set Pixel Per Display Pixel to 35 and Encode BitRate to 750, any higher than 800, I start seeing lag and artefacts. Once connected to Oculus Link open the game via the Oculus Library. I hope this works for you for this game. I saw a real visual improvement (could be placebo) using this method as I was about to ditch the Quest 3 for a used Pimax 8K headset, now I finally got it working with a few sim racing games, I think I'll keep it. I will post a video on my channel as I recorded what I did and a few laps in this game.

How are the temps?
Yes no one has content of using the actual damn thing. Mine is coming next week but I have a couple questions: 1. Can I have a virtual desktop with a wired connection or can I only do that with a wireless connection? My ideal setup would be glasses mode plugged into my laptop then have virtual monitors. 2. Would you be able to work in the xr Elite environment? I code and stuff and mainly want to use this for coding and studying. Is it a decent experience for these things resolution and text clarity wise?
1. works with wired mode 2. it is possible. there is a desktop mode but it’s not cleared enough unless you zoom.

@@jacoposcaccia640 Personally, i'm waiting for Meta Quest Pro 2 but will get the Meta Quest 3 to fill the void. Need one for Sim Racing, i prefer to use a TV for watching shows and in terms of productivity, seriously, i will be quicker using an actual company, it's all a bit gimmicky at this stage. I did try my mates Vision Pro. it's good but not for the price as others will catch up to them as it's not light years ahead, it's just more user friendly. High res and refresh rate is a big deal with VR headset, as well as ability to use it in tethered mode whilst using it.

Fasgear PCI-e 5.0 Extension Cable, works fine and the system has been pulling 700W for extensive periods in game and not on fire yet 😅

Final setup looks great aesthetically and 4K performance is off the charts and finally 120fps 4K ultra gaming is possible for poorly optimised /demanding games with minimal dips such as Escape from Tarkov and Squad.
