Why is transboundary cooperation crucial for biodiversity conservation, Ana Carvalho?
The TRANSNATURE project explores the transboundary governance of biodiversity in Europe. Through a comparison of four selected case studies, the project examines how transboundary biodiversity governance incorporates different stakeholders, how cooperation mechanisms among these stakeholders can improve biodiversity conservation, and how transboundary biodiversity protection can promote the prevention and enforcement of cross-border pollution and wildlife crime.

The Winter School on Federalism and Governance is a shared cross-border project of the Institute for Comparative Federalism of Eurac Research, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Innsbruck. Due to centralization, services are not longer possible in rural areas. One can try to fight centralization, but in the end the people will move to where there is work oppurtunities. The last people to leave the rurals will be the one's who has to turn off the lights. Good thing for the globalists - there will be no people in rural areas standing in their way of exploitation.
