This was one of my favorite episodes
There's something about Bea that made me want to turn the channel when she came in any episode, but I didn't cause the rest of the show was always great! I couldn't stand the way she acted, her holier than thou attitude and condescending treatment of other people. She was always judging others, always talking about everyone behind their backs and acting like she was better than everyone else. Good riddance to that character in the show. I bet she was like Bea in real life.
Huh?? How exactly did she act "better than everyone else"? She loved to help people , especially with food.
Actually the opposite she was BITCH in real life mean as all get out.She hated Andy in real life and they did not get along at all.She hated the Aunt Bea character and fussed behind the scenes about it too.She was not a good person at all believe it or not.

Too funny "Operation Pickle Switch". This episode had some really good lines. This show made me hungry for pickles, mostly the good ones at the end that won at the county fair.

Worst episode except those with Mayor Stoner.How did he get elected in a laid back town that elected Andy as Sheriff ?? Common sense would be to throw the pickles away anywhere out of town instead of eating them.Aunt Bea never left town except for picnics near the cave.

Years ago, many people canned their own pickles. Many of them thought that they were so good that all friends and neighbors should have a jar. Many of the pickles were too sour, too sweet, etc. However, you had to tell person that made the pickles that they were great.

It's ironic--Aunt Bee is a supreme cook when it comes to any other sort of food, but for some reason she is just TERRIBLE at cooking pickles.
