I’m confused. You used a different bag in another video showing that the bag didn’t fit in the sizer, but you didn’t state the size of your bag. Your comment in the other video said to check out this video where your bag fits. It’s a backpack. Not even close to a suitcase type bag. A backpack can squish to be less tall. A hard or soft side case can’t change height size.

Can you not have someone hold your phone while videoing? What is the size of your case using a measuring tape? I never go by specs from the company website. What is the ‘actual’ size of the sizer? If they are understating the sizer dimensions, isn’t that illegal? Can a person fight the measurement with AC if it’s not the size it states?

Have you found a Brandof suitcase that meets airtransat requirements for carry on?

Be careful with carry on bags. We had decided to pay and check bags for our group of 4 in to 2 suitcases. Glad we did, because we saw at the gate they made people try to fit their carry on in these and they wouldnt fit, even though they swore they were the at or under the required measurements, they were forced to pay a check bag fee to get on the plane. I had measured my carry on that i initially planned to take and it was under but i dont think it wouldve fit.

They are systematically stealing peoples money. In my case, I paid for a carryon bag, $72, while checking in for my daughter. My daughter brought a checkin size bag, so they want my daughter to pay $94 at the counter. I was willing to pay the difference. However, they insisted to pay 94. I called the customer service, which is 3rd party, just hired by Flair Air, in order to get my money back but they said they do not have the authority to refund my money before the flight, told me to call them back after the flight. As I had guessed, they can only issue a 4 month good travel credit under my daughter's name. It's like you can even spell your name wrong once, and you have to pay for the consequences. They will steal your money every moment you are not prepared for. I am currently look I ng for a lawyer to get my money back. It's not a money issue anymore. They think they can ruled people because they have the company. Anyone have the similar or same experience can join me. I will sue Flair Air for sure.

You said make sure to be careful of the weight but there is nothing on the website or on the signs you showed mentioning weight. I am curious why you mentioned being careful about weight…

SUNWING website gives 3 different sizes for PERSONAL ITEM in three different locations on their site and on my account documents from purchasing a trip I've not gone on yet. Confusing. Then i see THIS video and it gives me hope. If i read the sign correctly, it is ANYTHING you bring with you "on" board (not underneath checked in cargo hold), so "carryon" OR "personal" would be the same size... (but you don't bring both. Unless you want to pay extra for "carryon" to shove overhead). Am I getting that right ??? thnx (Sept 2023, Canada)

Won’t fit ! Then put it in luggage and buy a bag that fits. I can’t stand people bringing on two suitcases into the plane. Why would you need alm that. You don’t. use a hard shell carry on suitcase like an Away bag. Watching these videos carefully to be ready on flight day! With hard shell, there is no expansion area to cause this problem

I think you have this backwards -- why would you check bags as much as possible? It's such a pain and waste of time at the airport. And don't put valuables on the carry on bag that will always be with you? I would want to keep the valuable stuff with me vs. it getting thrown around under the plane.

Try the royal tea at Starbucks...its very flavorful. Same name. It's not bland at all.

It's funny that the measurements printed are wrong on their sizer board😂 On the right for the carry on it says 9" depth and in brackets (16cm) which is not an accurate conversion, as 16cm is actually 6" and 9" is actually 23cm.

By what you showed us, I'm pretty sure your bag could have fit the requirements of a personal piece (in other words: free carry on!)

Do you know how strict are they? My carry-on baggages are 21.5' including wheels and handle.

Garbage big time. No food, no drinks, charge $90 for carry on, to check in seat you pay $25 per passenger. No entertainment at all, no monitors.

Why do the carry on sizer bins look like completely different sizes??? I’m using swoop AND carry on for the first time ever and for the life of me I cannot find carry on that is 21” - I can only find 21.5” ☹️
