Ai orbit wave maker is the best decision I made i don’t even hear the wave maker I retired two ecotech mp40s for ai Nero 7 and a 5 was going to buy another Nero 7 and sell the 5 but the new orbit came out so I thought let me get this new toy and see if it’s as silent as my neros “lord it’s so quiet I have to check it’s working 😅 anyone like the Neptune auto feeder or not worth the order is the usb long?

Did you only use the base rock or also add premium rock with sponges and other things. Premium costs a bit more. And other question, how long did you want for the order to arrive at the airport once placed with the supplier?

OMG 😮Polylab does this??? I’ve been into reef aquarium for about two years now. Let me tell ya, tank about a money pit. I’ve had every coral fish you can imagine. And lost every fish/coral too😂 Things like heater malfunctioning and cooking the entire tank! Then the next time I left my employee at my home while I was away & the jerk didn’t even cut the tank light on and my Anemone moved & got caught in the power head 😔 At that point 3k down the drain. I’ve taken it easy over the last year and learned much as I can. I’ve learned to be patient with coral & use preventive measure like programming my Kessil, keeping my hands out of the tank and being patient. I’m trying dosing now but haven’t seen corals blow up like yours. You sure do know that your doing. Would be a blessing if you share some of your knowledge. Thanks… I’ve taken it easy for the past year

My previous tank had dry rock and about the 10 month mark I had a massive algae bloom that I could not get rid off for the life of me. I truly believe that was from using dry rock and not live rock. This lead to me having to shut the tank down because I was fighting it for months. I’m considering reefing again but I will only use live rock if I do.

Thanks for this! It’s exactly the information and honestly I’ve been looking for. Wish I had come across this sooner. I’m also considering the hydros controller. Do you have any thoughts about it?

Why don’t you just use the bottle you mixed the roids in for application? Next, the green carpeting type coral (upper left above the slimed hammer) what is it? Where did you get it? I MUST get one! Great looking tank.

Does it have to be an all or nothing option? Could you build your aquascape with dry rock, then just add one piece of live rock to get the cycling process started?

Originally ordered a Red Sea XL525 this past January. 4 tanks later - they weren't able to deliver a tank that was neither damaged (cracked tank/scratches on display) nor defective (bubbles in seams). Red Sea said that they couldn't deliver another tank and was stuck with parts that were specifically set up for their tank. Talk about leaving a customer on the side of the road. Went with a Waterbox Reef 220.6 afterward. They were able to deliver a tank with no issues. Keep in mind Ive owned a Red Sea Tank before this purchase for about 10 years...Red Sea just threw a long time customer out the window....truly disgusting...and don't bother going to their Facebook Owners page as they'll just censor your posts and pictures...pictures are worth a 1,000 words...so what did they do, they just block you....their QC is down the tubes...As for Waterbox and seeing it first hand, they just delivers a better product IMO especially with the stand and much better plumbing. Beautiful reef! Have a question about your power heads. You have good success mounting them on the rear panel like that? I want to do that, but people “in the know” keep telling me they need to point at each other. But if I do they are all ugly on the clear glass on the sides of my tank. Cheers!
