100% volunteer-run charity, genuinely concerned with the welfare of needy animals. We rescue and provide veterinary care to injured and homeless felines, follow through on recovery & adoption since 1988. We desperately need support to continue this work.
Over the years, more than 4,000+ cats have benefited from the services of NTCR, and are now living the lives they deserve as part of a loving family. These cats found hope and a permanent home after having experienced varying degrees of hardship in the hostile street environment or in the hands of uncaring owners. Approximately 160 cats are still living at the shelter today, away from the horrors of the street and the harsh lives they previously led.

The sheer number of discarded cats outside is staggering and the suffering unmeasurable and our need for funding to continue our building expansion is CRITICAL . We stopped counting the lives saved for more than 36 years but well over 4,000 strays have been taken off the streets, wounds healed, bones mended but we can’t do this alone… we NEED YOUR SUPPORT in order to help the lineups outside waiting patiently to come in before another winter.

I am so grateful to have my boy Pumpkin in my life and the love he gives me is immeasureable. Thanks to those who care and rescue and rehome such lovely animals and what a heart wrench to watch this video but now makes me want to do more to help other cats and animals. All my love to you all and thank you for your hard work and dedication, the cats wouldn't have made it without your support and love and they love you so much more back. Hopefully everything will turn out for you and I am praying!
