2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Rear Differential Fluid Change
Просмотров 10 тыс.2 года назад
Turns out, its really cheap and easy to change the rear differential fluid in a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It only takes a quart. I used Amsoil. They have a good reputation for a reason! I believe the repair manual I have states to do this every 72k miles. I did it at 102k miles, and the old fluid still looked almost new. AMSOIL used: www.amsoil.com/p/severe-gear-75w-90-svg/?code=SVGPK-EA
2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Fuel Pump Replacement (Fix long cranking start / ESS Light)
Просмотров 56 тыс.2 года назад
2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L Pentastar V6 w/ ESS 2WD At the time I replaced it, the Jeep had 102k miles and was around 5-1/2 years old. I had problems with long crank times after the vehicle had sat for a number of hours. Sometimes it would fail to start and require a second attempt. Narrowed problem down to Fuel pump, so in the video I talk about replacing the fuel pump, and try to point out ...

Dumping My Kawasaki Versys X300! - Tough Hill Climb
Просмотров 2,1 тыс.2 года назад
The others I'm riding with are on a Suzuki DRZ400 and Honda CRF300L. On the forest roads, they had to push pretty hard to keep up with me, but you can tell their bikes were much more at home on the gnarly stuff. We did some pretty good trails, but this one, the rocks got a little much for my skill level on the X300. For the record, the next day I took the KLX250 up this hill with no problems at...

In this timelapse video, I use Poor Mans Fiberglass (PMF) just on the bottom of my siding to seal where it will meet with the trailer frame. I have to do this on all four sides just on the bottom as the side and top will all be wrapped with another piece of canvas. Feel free to leave me a comment or question in the comments section and I'll do my best to answer them.

I’m going camping next week for the first time with a 12v fridge. I have only one power station, and a 100w solar panel. Any advice on how to maintain charge? I think I can get a decent ammount of charge on the power station form the car while driving, but I’m a bit concerned about how to charge the fridge all day. I’m thinking I need to find a way to mount y solar panel to the back of my van and run a cable into the back of the van so I can charge while its in the truck and I’m not driving. I am thinking I may have to find alot, or at least a good bit of extension cables so I can run things from the front of the van to the back… I dunno, I’m a bit nervous about it since I don’t have all that much time to do any tests.

I was getting discouraged when installing mine after watching the video on their website, and I almost planned to return it. It's a good thing I tried one last time after watching your video. You have a better explanation and better camera angle compared to the Autostop eliminator website. I was able to install mine successfully. Thank you!

I’m using a 220watt solar panel with my jackery 1000 and through the wall it charges at over 160 but through the solar panel I’m only getting 109-113? Normal? Max input from different sources say 126watts and 200watts! So now I’m confused if my panels are crap or the jackery is regulating it to 109-113watts…

THANK YOU for describing the "auxiliary fuel pump" module. Having dealer replace my primary fuel pump and they wanted another $900 to replace the auxiliary (of which, 90% of that cost is the auxiliary pickup itself and apparently on backorder). Hearing that there's no actual pump in that side confirms my fears that I don't need to replace that unless that hose or pickup cracks.

Always remove the fill plug first. As NAPP3R stated, help with faster drainage. But, mainly because if you cannot remove your fill plug because it is seized or stripped, you have no way to fill the now drained differential. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks. I'm having the same problem on and off after it sat all Winter. Rode about 2 + miles, it shut down totally thrice, a few times ran rough, but managed to keep going, Filled up the tank a little over 1 mile in, half way. Now, I'm afraid to ride it. Oh, it's running slower too, and will stop if I don/t keep the throttle open a bit. Haven't taken it off full choke yet.
