what happen to the Cyglidar sensor ......not available anymore ????? When will the new version be available for sale ???
The CygLiDAR D2 model will be sold in March.
I like the CygLidar it does not require an operating system such as Linux or Windows. High speed serial is perfect for embedded systems.
Can't you use a 2D lidar for this? Maybe one lidar up and the other down so you can use multiple fingers without obstructing the view?
By the way what Operating system did you use for this? It would be very useful for me

It is possible do visual slam using cyglider in ROS1 ,If it is yes ,share video relevant to visual ,if you used it ,this will overcome the robot locallization error,Thanks in advance
How can I learn SlAM?
Looks good, how much would this be? The frame rate looks a bit slow though
What is the advantage of dual SLAM? I have doing 2D SLAM using LIDAR but using a depth camera for dynamic obstacle. I am missing something? can I improve further?
CygLidar allows a single sensor to act as both a 2D LiDAR and a depth camera.

We used Turtlebot 2 (robot platform). IMU and encoder information included in the robot was used with lidar.

Do you want to check the real bridge? For practical application, it is recommended to use a good process for handling many exceptions and for stability.

how to choose 3d lidar for 3d slam and can I do the same for outdoor because we are working on an acreman steering controller robot?
This product(CygLiDAR D1) is for indoor use. Outdoor use is coming soon(CygLiDAR D2 and H2) The choice of LiDAR is important for the driving environment of the robot. Information such as whether it is indoor or outdoor?, recognition distance, and precision are required.

@@cygbotlab3936 it still looks quite nice :) , the trick is this weekend I made a 3D slam on rpi for simulated velodyne 16, I thought I was the only one who made it then google read my mind, ohh khaled here you go and showed me this demo :), but looking more into it I thought nope, it is more to be point cloud 3D assembly not point cloud 3D matching/mapping
