Nice air showing of USA formation
Thank you
Anyone know where we can find the full feature film?
At first I was like, so this was their take on I'm-so-random humor. But then it started to bop.
Mom said Kay Kyser was a favorite of hers. I can dig it.
just enjoyed watching this fun movie on TCM. Really love the Finale routine and wish I could find that here
Sweetest song I've ever heard.

Any idea where I can get the full movie?
Love it, this was hilarious.

ikr, I left it like that on purpose
Thanks for the series.
The real eye catcher is Harry Babbitt who could go from a rich baritone voice to a high pitch falsetto in an instant!
Kay Kyser: Aaaand we're ready! Gentlemen, be seated! That's what I said! A-one, a-two! Harry Babbit: Ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, it's the Bad Humor Man! *Hey, little kiddies, do you hear that noise?* You better fly, better fly, better fly! *Here comes the enemy of girls and boys!* What a guy, what a guy, what a guy! *Hear him yell, hear his bell!* So drop your philosophies and drop your toys *and run pell-mell!* Ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, it's the Bad Humor Man! Ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling, with a frown on his pan! He's a Gloomy Gus and a grouch on wheels! He's one of America's foremost heels! So he sings ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling as he goes on his way! With his wagon rumblin', he keeps grumblin', it sure is an awful day! Oh, boy, school is out, school is out! *London Bridge is falling down!* Three Blind Mice! See how they run! *London Bridge is falling down!* _I wanna play too!_ Old MacDonald had a farm! Throw me that ball, Rusty! Hey, look, kids! The Bad Humor Man! Oh, boy, I want a chocolate one! Can I have a vanilla? I'd like a little peach! _Hey, could you give me a raspberry, mister?_ Ish Kabibble: With pleasure, kiddie! Ohhh...up every morning at the break of day! What a life, what a life, what a life! Cold cup of coffee on a breakfast tray! What a wife, what a wife, what a wife! _All day long, things go wrong!_ And so as I wander on my weary way I sing this song! _Ting-a-ling!_ Ting-a-ling! *Ting-a-ling!* I'm the Bad Humor Man! *Ting-a-ling!* Ting-a-ling! _Ting-a-ling!_ Ish: With a frown on my pan! Sully Mason: He's mean as Simon, I mean Legree! Ish: Yes, I hate people, and they hate me! So he sings ting-a-ling, ting-a-ling *As he goes* _on his way!_ With my wagon rumblin', I keep a-grumblin'! Low, what a wowsy day! Kay: That's no way to act! Now, why be mad? Ish: Well, business is good But my humor's bad! Kay: Then come on, kids, with your musical toys! They'll make you one of the happiest boys! *Instrumental* Ish: Thank you, kiddies, for the helping hand! You made me smile and it sure feels grand! Kay: Then keep on smilin', and join the band! *Instrumental Outro*
I was born way too late!!
This was also the same time that 60 million people met their graves in WWII and the communists ran roughshot over half of Europe.
@@zoperxplex I'm sure they are aware.
@@elliotsoldies9585 So the conclusion is that it is better to experience a time when 60 million people perished in a war and communism threatened democracy just so you can enjoy old fashion entertainment?
@@zoperxplex people like you should just never comment ur sucking the fun and life out of everything u touch u miserable dog
@@zoperxplex Unless you can show that Kay Kyser and his band were personally responsible I'm afraid your remark is irrelevant.
Omg gosh so good, eu ri tanto que derrubei meu café.
This was the highest paid entertainment group at the time! And they deserved every penny! They were all great musicians. And they were a great force in America, I loved everything about them. Thank you God!
Loved the percussion in this one and it's awfully cute, thanks for posting.
