Rabbit at 92 m and first attempt at dressing a rabbit.
My first hunt for a while, not many rabbits around, but a couple of shots to be proud of and my first attempt at dressing a rabbit with my new knife.

Hi do you have any rabbit meat i can have?
Rabbit meat on the smoker is it?
You can use all the sawdust you've collected in your boots now. :)
What are you shooting in your impact? I have the trigger stix bipod which has made such a difference in my hunting accuracy. I made a hip mount to carry it which works well. And have a sling for my wildcat. 99m is my PB for a rabbit, but took 2 shots to hit - not really tuned for those distances. I'm using 18gr JSBs and I'm too lazy to retune for anything else as it's a lot of work. I do have a 16gr low power tune for shooting in shed though.
I'm shooting the same, 18 grn JSB. And yea, i'm too lazy to tune for slugs, but I have a good supply of JSB for now, so no need to change if it works I reckon. Hip mount sounds interesting, would be keen to see what you've done.

Good!
Can they not see what's happening? They just sit there.
It's dark at night, and so they are less likely to move. That's the beauty of night Vision.
@@Pauly5150 That's wild. I didn't think they would be so non reactive.
@@hulbertparsons7396They're not like cats. Majority of birds can't see at night. They're not aware of something happening unless there's a light or some bird screams.
Whats for supper?...not dominos.
Nice.....
Paul, you need something with a more rapid dispersal :-)
Bro
Love it keep up good work
Liked that. Well put together video. Good choice of music too. The nz fire department could use it for thier safety campaign. Stop drop and roll 😂
Hi paul. Does the reticle adjust itself automatically when you aim longer distances? I mean its an automatic BC or manual?
Hi. there aren't any ballistic capabilities on this earlier version, but the newer versions have. I now use an Arken Zulus that has those capabilities and find it a better unit to use overall.
@Pauly5150 Thank you for the reply. May I know the new version number please coz I'm buying a ht60 lrf and want to make sure the BC is automatic. Thanks again
il video è bello ,amo la caccia x nutrizione, però bisogna rispettare le regole mamma natura, durante la riproduzione non si caccia! A volte le gazze ladre mangiano uova galline è ammazzano pulcini,il resto tutto ok 👍👍
Yes, I agree. These are pests living in buildings and fouling public areas, so are not eaten, but removed for health reasons.
great video as always
Awesome video bro 👍 keep the video coming
got a question sir Zulus on a Ghost with the default 0 MOA mount to the Ghost rail. Can you tell me "Scope height" measured that you put into the ballistics table please?
Hi skydonkey, I only have an Impact MK2. I have put 7.8 cm for my height using a 0 MOA mount. So I don't know what height it would be on a Ghost sorry.
@@Pauly5150sorry i posted this on the wrong vid ..... but enjoyed watching the wwrabbitss getting some ....
Most shots would have been 35 to 55 m. I used the on board IR. At end I show what it performs like at 100 m. Great little unit these.
Great clip. One last question : how much the quality of telescope effects the performance of this add on?
@@ajmaljamshed4158 The rifle scope is not effected at all. The image on the add on isn't as clear as the rifle scope, but it does not effect the use at all. It is a good addition for making your rifle scope a night vision scope. The HT88 is shorter than similar units which makes it good.
I think I was didn't ask clearly. I meant to know whether quality of telescope will be a significant factor in the performance of ht88?
Sorry, I got that wrong. Yes I believe different scopes can have better or worse results, but I have used this on 2 or 3 different scopes and I didn't notice any drop in quality.@@ajmaljamshed4158
At what distance were you taking these shots? And just onboard IR or additional IR also?
Distances were around 35 to 55 m, and I was using onboard IR
الحمام بايض وله زغاليل حرام عليك ❤
These ones are blue/gray, and poo everywhere.
Aww geeee. As pretty as the lead flowers are, as soon as saw "the wife's roses" come up on screen a part of me went nooo way he's not going to shoot the flowers off the stems..... A mischievous part of me wishes you had. The words "wife's roses" fully explains why you didn't. 😂
Great video mate, Question please , so once you zeroed it in 7 7 you balistic info you have put in , The next time you use it and turn the Scope on do you have to do anything else like go in to the menu and turn anything on or go into the arken app and do anything there ??
No, once I send the ballistic table to the scope, just turn on and use. Make sure the settings on the scope are on ballistic table call for aiming method. This tells the scope to use the ballistics to indicate the aim point on the reticule.
Thank you for that, I found it to be just what I wanted 🙂. I just needed to see how well the HT-88 worked, great job. Your shooting was good too, well done.
Are you using i😢 now
I actually purchased an HT-77 LRF. I'm Just waiting for the IR I got from the UK. Have been out playing with the buttons, taking photo and video learning to adjust all the focusing. Probably won't be much good on possum as they need to be shot quickly. But hares, rabbits and deer will be a different challenge but doable. Having fun though. 😊
Hello friend, good shots... question: that scope, what is the maximum distance range at which you can work with the ballistic calculator? Have you tried it at more than 100 meters?
Yes, you can use ballistics for longer shots. I have mine set at 150 m maximum. I would only shoot to 100 m with my gun, but if you have more power you can go much further.
Mantol jos Bosque👍👍👍👍👍
Luar biasa Bosque mantab👍👍👍👍
Don’t shoot the Ute! 😂😂😂 Some good long shots there, nice work.
L2 great my friend, beautiful location
How can I buy this in India
Look on the Arken website for an agent.
Is this impact sub 12 ?
No, it's running at around 30 fpe. It was on factory settings in this video.
what height have you added to the bc calculator for the scope height i get 7.7cm
I have 7.8cm. My mounts don't appear to have any MOA built in either, and it's a Mk2 impact.
@@Pauly5150 sure mine have 35 moa on the mount
Did you have to shim it at all?@@rhyscook2454
@@Pauly5150 no mate cross hairs are bang centre
Nicely done. I can't decide what to get for Christmas. Zulus, Hikmicro Alpex or sightmark wraith.
Tough problem. I've only used the Sytong HT60 and this, and would definitely choose this over it. Very clear screen, and only downside is that it's hungry on power, but just carry a couple extra. Let me know what you decide on. I believe there's a lower mag version coming out next year.
@Pauly5150 will do. I have plenty of 18650s lying around. Also a separate IR torch. I think with the LRF this seems to be the logical choice in terms of value.
2:00 mr bunny even gave you a standing ovation and went heals over head for ya
I am wondering how you missed that shot.
i'm still wondering now.

A great Vid Pauly, thanks very much from brian ---- in England
how is the bc calculator
Arken have an app where all the gun information is added. You must pair phone and unit for bc information to transfer from phone to unit. App is called Arken Optics and Arken Ballistics.
Nice work Pauly. Were you shooting pellets or slugs?
18 grn jsb pellets.
Good haul
Wow so much rabbit there Paul 👍 & awesome shooting with the new NV,I would like to join sometimes 😄
Still chuckling at what must become a mantra for rabbit shooters. " there's heaps of rabbits around, a heap of rabbits. But their probly all gonna run away from me" 😂😂 Absolute classic. Great Vid.
