As mentioned in your comment, there are plenty of mock tuna salad sandwich recipes on the internet. This is my version. I am not vegan and agree that tuna and/or egg salad sandwiches are great. This is an alternative. For vegans interested in trying this recipe, as mentioned in the video description substitute cheese with vegan cheese or if you don't like eating cheese, do not add cheese. This is what I enjoy about cooking. You can take a recipe, try it, like the recipe as is or put your own spin to it. Thanks for watching.

Sorry you did not enjoy this recipe. As stated in the video, the recipe (directions) & its ingredients are in the video's description. This includes the timing to cook corn. The video's description also mentions to check the manufacturer instructions for canning water bath times due to not knowing the exact size or brand of canning jar(s) each individual uses while trying out this recipe. Different jars and sizes use different water bath times depending on what company makes the jar(s). To keep the videos short and so folks trying out the recipe do not have to go to a separate site to get the recipe, I post the long form directions to each recipe in each video description. I hope this helps if you are trying this recipe.

I agree with you. Louisiana does have native stink bugs. However, the stink bugs that I am highlighting in this video are brown marmorated stink bugs, an invasive species that seems to have adapted to living in Louisiana and other U.S. states. They are causing havoc to gardens and difficult to control (just about impossible to eliminate). Also, like other invasive species, they seem to outcompete native stink bugs. My advice is if you see stink bugs in your garden or around the outside of your home, immediately take measures to bring their numbers down and actively continue to take measures to keep their numbers under control. This is a great way to enjoy peanut butter cups without eating peanut butter cups. Thanks for enjoying.

The texture depends on if you eat this pudding warm or chilled. This pudding is creamier when you eat it warm, directly after making. Also, when whisking in chocolate and peanut butter, the longer you whisk once combined, the thicker the pudding. If you decide to chill it, it will thicken some as it cools in the refrigerator. So sorry to hear. This year the number of stink bugs in my home garden has significantly decreased. However, I now have a massive problem with controlling white flies. Last spring and summer this area suffered a severe drought and extremely high temperatures, much higher than normal for the Southeastern U.S. I am not sure if the decrease in stink bugs is due to last year's weird weather conditions. The heat and lack of water could have killed them off and/or disrupted their usual life cycle. To try and get these white flies under control, I am constantly applying Neem Oil (as a primary defense) and spraying Spinosad (as a backup) to the garden. Not sure if applying these substances is having a direct correlation to the decrease in stink bugs but you can try using them and see what happens. I do know, trying to control these pests are like trying to control garden weeds. You have to keep at it. Good luck and hope this helps.

Luckily, I have not had problems with leaf footed bugs. When I come across new pest issues in the garden, I refer to LSU (Louisiana State University) Ag Center for advice. LSU Ag Center has a short (less than a minute) RUclips video titled "How to Identify and Control Leaf-Footed Bugs in Your Garden" released on Aug 21, 2023. You can also get in contact with your local ag center for information on what they recommend for your region. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

I’m out in Co, was raised on the east coast. I figured I’d make my own. No one out here knows what chow chow or what green tomatoes are. Anyone know of a good substitute for green tomatoes?

I had to sit and think about this. The best substitute I can think of is tomatillos. They have a different texture, flavor and are not as firm as green tomatoes. They are also smaller. However, if I were going to try a substitute, this is what I would experiment with first. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
