Well unless you went to another school, you can still go to Spelman maybe later on. Hey I'm taking time to get my Associates. But I will be transferring I hope. And as far as AKA once you get your degree, you can go Grad Chapter...it's NEVER too late.

I was accepted into Spelman and planned to pledge AKA, but fell ill with Lupus right after my high school graduation in 2000. I still haven't quite recovered but I still love Spelman and the AKA's. Go Ladies!!.

@shae777888 She probably didn't die because of hazing. If so their chapter would be expelled and not recognized by the college. According to the Spelman website as of today, AKA Mu Pi Chapter is still active and recognized by the college. Very sad what happened to their new member...
