It's interesting the spanish lenguage álbum, because the girls were more on their own in the studio (except for Michael Tretow that was there) and maybe more "free" to record the voices. I guess, altough, that some songs are less layers than their english twins and lack the Boys voices. But for me (spanish lenguage speaker) some songs have better voices sound (No hay a quien culpar, for instance, due to the open vowels pronunciation I guess) Great job, as always!

Once again, a backing track so complex with magic arrangements it defies belief! The bass lines are off the scale! Phew….! ABBA ABSOLUTELY ROCK!! 🎸

This is awesome and i have it on repeat, but the chorus section is just amazing, the way it decends to it after building, the intro guitar in there, the gallaping bass, the plucky guitar highlights, its a whole vibe on its own that is near trance like. And you miss it all on the vocal version, just like another world has opened up.

Wow.. this song.. moved me as an 8yo when the album came out.. and it moves me to this day. It really crushes my anxiety, and takes me on a journey. My personal favourite of Abbas, and thank you for this incredible instrumental.. ❤ You have done the hits.. but tracks like Tiger, My Love My Life, tell me you my friend are an Abba fan.. Again, thank you for these superb instrumentals 🙏

You can clearly see why Madonna did a cover of this song... truly beautiful.. id love to hear an instrumental of 'Soldiers' one of Abbas finest.. agreed by most die hard Abba fans... thank you for these instrumentals.. respect 🙏

What a beautiful piece of music. It goes to show that they made the right choice for the album from all of those various demos that appear on "From a twinkling star to a passing angel." This kind of instrumental could have worked as a "Part II" of the song on the album - especially if the running order had been a little different, and/or there had been more tracks on the original album.

Soldiers is a cornerstone of ABBA’s work, a truly singular piece in their discography. It has a hieratic, almost solemn quality-cold and austere-yet this is beautifully counterbalanced by Agnetha and Frida’s angelic vocals. The contrast gives the impression of a song beating beneath a thin layer of ice, its pulse visible through the crystalline transparency. I find this absolutely unique within ABBA’s music. There’s something almost polar about it-tones of glacial white and icy blue, with deep crimson shades flickering beneath, as if trapped within the frost. While ABBA didn’t always embrace mystery, certain songs-Like an Angel Passing Through My Room, I Let the Music Speak, and others-carry that same cold, enigmatic aura. But here, it feels especially striking. Thank you for highlighting all of this-I truly appreciate it.

Imprssive vocals by Frida...She was one oof a kind....What her voice contributed to the richness of the Abba sound is unbelievable!

The "aha.. aha... aha..." solos sung by Frida here, show her superlative - both powerful and sophisticated- singing...Using her jazz vocalist technical skills in her extraordinary precise vibrato...I don't think any other pop singer could have brought that fantastic colour of voice in that song other than Frida...I heard Helen Sjoholm sing that song with BAO...It was much less impressive singing to my taste...Not that Helen does not sing well ...but she cannot bring that spirit Frida projects...and that unique vocal sophistication of hers in that jazzy style.
