I’ve been fortunate to see them numerous times over the years. This show was my second. I first saw them when they opened for the Stones at Exhibition Stadium…..I only went to see them and left after three songs by the Stones. This show was probably the best I saw them……they were on fire that night (but there’s no such thing as a bad LC show) The 25th Anniversary of Vivid show at Opera House was a standout as well……they played the entire record front to back plus a bunch of other stuff……was REALLY good. Just an amazing, talented band that deserves far more credit than they get for the impact they made when Vivid debuted.

So wait, did Rhino just call an audible and spear an actual cop or was the cop a plant "cop" that he was always going to spear, but they just moved that up to happen early? Because I just always assumed when this was happening the "cops" that Rhino speared, punched, and was being held down by were unknown local indy wrestlers dressed as cops.

@@SpanishFly120 it was a plant cop. The security you see at ringside is a mix of ECW security and Hammerstein Ballroom security. I’m not entirely sure what exactly was supposed to happen if the fan hadn’t run in, but I think Cyrus and Rhino (mainly Rhino) were supposed to eventually clash with security because they were deliberately riling fans up, thus leading to the locker room emptying to the ring. Cyrus himself stated that the whole thing was legitimately scary because of how hostile the fans were (though he felt confident with Rhino being with him in the ring), but the fan run-in was one of the scariest moments he ever experienced. He was _very_ thankful to both the ECW and Hammerstein Ballroom security.

@@Mia-dt3gl Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. If I had to guess what the original plan was, I'd imagine Rhino was supposed to act like he was going to leave the ring to go towards the guardrail/fans and the security were going to hold him back. He probably would've shoved some security down, leading to the "cops" coming in, him spearing one, and the roster running down to try and stop him/the incident. This is of course, just 100% me speculating on "what I think makes sense", though.
