I miss this Conor
So you liked Bright Eyes, The Starting Line, and Hit The Lights? Where were you when I was younger lol
Saw them a few nights after this. Conor was at the peak of his powers. The Felice Brothers, who I had never heard of and who were raw, driven, and incendiary with Simone adding a dark edge, delivered the best opening set I have ever seen in over 500 shows. They’ve been one of my favorite bands ever since. This is such a beautiful time capsule of the energy and possibility of these people at this time.
I’ve always wondered if Connor or Jake wrote this one.
It was Conor, he just didn’t perform it on the record for whatever reason.
❤️
Still the best walls cover
kennygr8 would've posted this
Remember seeing this live back in high school and bugging out when this came on. Love that harmony on “ gonna find you” guy absolutely kills it on the viola .
Saw them play this in Charlotte on that tour, fucking incredible.
Was this in Wilmington DE?
yes
its been a bright eyes type of vibe this whole year
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Coincidentally it was the first year I bought tickets to see them after 14 years
@@jaimemichelegoldstein9914 I hope you enjoyed the show :) conors perfornances have been hit or miss for me for a while . . . .will always love him still, tho
Thanks!! Loved it!!!
Why does it sound sadder when Conor sings it?
Talk about ur indigo kids talk about ur war in Vietnam well I’m here to see the when the president talks to god like we did to get over slimed kids all day hrbrbrr
My heart is in mothballs It's been packed away
Did the name bright eyes come from the film watership down . I watched that when I was a kid . No wonder I'm so well adjusted.
HANDS UP
THIS MAN IS GUILTY OF A HATE CRIME
What crime

I love how he changed it from 3 months to 5. It's more correct.
Yea you aint feeling anything kick at 3 months
Omg 😂
I like how no one realizes this actually a neva dinova song.
He just sings it on the album, but it's a Bright Eyes song.
If you look at the album credits for One Jug of Wine, it's listed as being written by Conor
@@Brynms I hear they each wrote a few songs and had the other perform them
Right but a good cover. I like nevas
Love Conor and he usually has the Felice Brothers as his backing band...they are total badasses on their iwn...cant wait to see them all again friday in SF at H S B
God--I'd be so happy if they did a studio recording of this.
Even walls fall down, rest in peace Tom Petty.
Amazing performance of a beautiful song.
Superb!
Beautiful
the best song. such a good cover. thank you.
who wrote this song?
+cutthatcity Conor Oberst did.
And Neva Denova
Jake Bellows sings on the album version but Conor wrote it.
My favorite performance <3 ♡

i really like that podium, and the flowers just make it better
check out my cover of this AMAZING song!!!
i love him. a great poet.
Nice version of a great tune. I've covered this in a couple of bands myself :-)
I rarely say this about covers, but this might be better than the original...
@KnotCool it's on the split he did with neva dinova but he doesn't sing it...
@catchthebeats haha it makes it sound like a completly different meaning doesnt it
So beautiful, thank you so much for the upload. Now I know what song I'm going to play on repeat as I sleep.<3
This touched my heart, btw tell dj kalid stfu he doesn't need a hype man
Video and your youtube name are legit.

People Downtown Sure Are Friendly- Pony Boy please listen to it, its me and my brother we're alot like the felice bro's. first song and its almost like a one hit wonder except our songs will always be good
Here you have some of the best in modern band music performing one of the heartiest rock and roll songs ever. F-ing money.
