Beautiful cruise on river Seine on a beautiful sunny day. Few people know that Engineer Gustave Eiffel also designed the internal structure of statue of Liberty in New York. He was a true genius but also a romantic man. The story says that Eiffel Tower is representing the lette « A » which was the initial of a lady he loved. But no one knows if this is really true…if you look closely, you will see that the upper part has been repainted and all painting should be finished by 2024 for the olympics in Paris. The new color is more closed to the original, more golden than the actual one.

Saint-Nazaire port was developed in the 19th century. As Loire river is not deep enough, big ships could not dock in nearby Nantes. It is known around the world because of its ability to build big liner ships like the one shown here which can hold more than 9000 people on 10 floors. A new project is to build a park of 80 wind turbines producing a total capacity of 480 Mega watts. We could see all the parts awaiting to be assembled at sea.
