I can't believe that multiple years have passed since I watched this when it aired.... one of the best isekai... no... one of the best anime out there... thoughtful, grim and dark, down to earth... fun to watch...great characters, great progression, great music. s2 improved on the animation department as well... Its such a shame that this anime is not popular.

There's a lot of hate for the anime because of the ending (I understand why) but really I don't care what they say it was a beautiful anime. And even if they hate the anime I'm sure they can't deny the fact that the music/songs are beautiful. Well if they hate the songs as well just cuz of the anime then I don't know what to say. Maybe go cool off somewhere lol. I shouldn't be saying all that here but ye just kinda mad at people. Either way out of Angel Beats, Charlotte and The day I became a God, The day I became a God is definitely my fav! The music alone makes me love it so much. Whenever I listen to the songs I'm reminded of the sad ending but I still love listening to them bcuz they're so beautiful.

yall dont underdtand, yotsuya never had any feelings, he just treated her a bit different cuz she wasnt a hero that could just return from death etc really depressing tho, cuz imagine living in regret for years and she conffessed virtually as soon as he was alone the second time he came and on top of that she never met him ever again. very sad man, dont think ill be getting over this one
