I did this one day. I rode up on a big club like this at a gas station and went for the gas. I got off and went inside to pee and grab a cold mt.dew. I came out and everyone was just staring at me. I was like what??? Shrugged my shoulders and got my gas. I took off and I actually realized I just rolled up and got right in the middle of them. I rode off relieved I didn’t get my butt kicked. I didn’t know they were outlaw bikers.. I was thinking it was a poker run group or a group
And perhaps one of the most surreal moments of my life I was in Amsterdam and who do I see walking around with a bunch of Hells angels and they were from all over the world but many of the patches in California anywhere there at the red light district which is not surprising and so I finish my vacation and I’m going home and I get on British Airways and he starts coming on the plane about 15 Hells angels. They were all very polite they didn’t say a word to anybody and the guy running the show walked right up to the head stewardess and told her if you have any problems or any issue with any of my guys you just let me know and I’ll take care of it. He said sometimes they do drink a little bit but trust me when I say to you this is the safest airplane you could be on at this point nothing bad will happen on this airplane while we’re on it. It made perfect sense to me and I. My other story is when I was in Santa Cruz attending school I went to buy some party favors from a friend of a friend and as I walk in the door everything is just laid out on the coffee table and there’s a guy sitting on the sofa all tatted up as casual as can be he says hello and I’m scanning the room and that’s when I see his jacket… Hells Angels anyway I was extra polite I didn’t ask any questions and he said, “do you need this upfront or are you going to be able to pay today? And I said oh I can pay today. He said if you want additional you can have it upfront. And that’s what I told him and I said, “I like to just pay as I go that way there’s no misunderstandings and if something happens I get ripped off or I lose it or whatever I then don’t owe for something I can’t pay for. And he looked at me and said, “you know nobody’s ever said that before and really since I saw you take a look at my jacket I’m sure you understand what the consequences would be if you did take a front and then we’re on able to pay. And I said I did. And he laughed and said you have no idea how many people walk in here and get things upfront and then two weeks later or when something happens that causes them to be unable to pay they think I’m going to care what the reason is. He said it’s not that I don’t care it’s just that we’re all adults and when you come in here I don’t ask for collateral your word is your bond so I assume you have it figured out then he really started laughing and he said you know sometimes I actually tell people they should only take what they can pay for that day because I can see they’re not organize or probably cognizant of what might happen if they don’t pay… And then he said and even then, some people just don’t even consider the possibility that something might happen and what are they going to do if they need to pay me in two weeks and they don’t have the money. Anyway he told me I was welcome back anytime… But that was the last time I went there because I was thinking he probably had a lot of people in and out of that house the police were eventually going to catch on to him and if you chose to run a scam where I walk out of the house and then get robbed two blocks away by one of his buddies there’s not much I can do about it so I decided to call it a win with one successful mission a nice guy but you could tell it was clear you did not want to hold him money I don’t know who won the world borrow from those guys it’s crazy it’s like borrowing or taking stuff upfront from the Mexican cartel you’re crazy paid advantage
