Gyaru can be for everyone idoit. Most of the time they tan their skin which makes them look black. So it would look good on black people too?
i LOVE the banba and yamamba gyaru looks! the drrop eye makeup is so cute. i feel like i cant express myself this way, though i wish i could. the influences of this generation and 'only allowed to wear boring, black and white tank tops with little denim shorts' (i swear its the only thing i feel accepted to wear) but i want to express myself in a way i feel i cant. worse yet, i dont know if my parents and friends would accept me for it. plus, i dont even know what style i want to be. please help me, starcissa!

yes. Gyaru is one of those subcultures that tend to be one the more expensive side when it comes to fashion, and it definitely feels like youre left out if you dont have the proper attire (trust me, i know the feeling, i've been into rorita since 2018 & i have no brand-name pieces to this day). While clothes is an important part of the subculture, i'd argue mindset & makeup are more important. Plus, you probably create an outfit with items you own depending on which style youre doing. (edit: i didnt realize i typed out so much im sorry)
