I loved this game when I was a kid. I played a lot of Koei NES games before getting my SNES so I adjusted to the Daimyo phase pretty easily and I was used to strategy games and some types of RPG not having much of a story

This game is a nasty challenge, until you discover sleep bombs work on EVERYONE, even the last bosses lol.

I'd argue that this game only *starts* to get good when you reach the Daimyo battles. At that point, your characters start to be able to deal real damage as well...up until the final dungeon and boss humble you no matter how much you've put into grinding.

Oh and definitely Uncharted Waters 1 and 2 are amazing games!

I owned this as a teenager and put too many hours into it for me bot being any goof at it. Very grind heavy.

I just bought a real cart of this game last week and have fallen in love. Wish I would have had it as a kid but better late than never. This is a great track but I think I like the map theme even more if you could extend that one!

I could never beat professional mode, I got gold on a few, some silver but some I couldn't even get 3rd.

Finally some Wizardry without someone talking over it.

Little do people know how hard this game is. Having so many feautures, the game just spikes in difficulty over the second half. Specially with the challenges and deathmatches the game offers.

Dont look at the maps your first time around. Endure the pain like we all did. Take notes if you have too but dont cheat. It adds to the difficulty. Not sure if you know but the D pad can add more damage to your attacks depending on where you hold it. I assumed it had to do with hitting in the head or body etc.
