the makeup was for her photo shoot and no one should feel entitled enough to tell a mother how she should raise or dress her daughter. generations of people in the black community perm their hair to get looser texture and lose their natural curls to make it more manageable and conform for society, this little girl gets to achieve that perm look without damaging her hair. also if this was a white child or any other race or even a mixed child, her hair wouldn’t be a problem, since it’s a black child with longer hair, you’re sexualizing a 4 year old saying she’s going to be fast or acting grown, hair, makeup + nails doesn’t make anyone grown. just because a child has a interest in those things doesn’t make them fast, these items don’t alter a child’s mind. getting a wig doesn’t make a child want to be sexually active cause isn’t that the point y’all are trying to make, search “4 year old white girl” and you’ll see girls that look like her, long hair and all but only difference is she’s white, even white kids in pageants or wear make up aren’t considered fast so just stop sexualizing lil black girls

Am I the only one who seems concerned that your pre-k aged daughter seems to be way too young to be looking like and dressing like an adult when she is still learning how to pronounce the words that are coming out of her mouth. Please let her be a child and not force her to be the best friend that you wish you had. We already live in a world where children are being exploited and and being oversexualized. I pray that you realize what a huge blessing it is to be her mother, and that you don't have to be showing her how to get these "money bags" at an early age, but to get her education first, and for her to know that she doesn't feel like she has to do these certain things to feel loved by you.😔
