Oh hey, it's my mod! Well, the way I dealt with the problem of figuring out which cards to put in my deck without having it be too easy: I made myself build my deck around a certain theme each time. Something like "only cards and sigils that the prospector uses" or "only 1-blood cards," so that it's more interesting and intentional than just random cards, but not as broken as just filling your deck with black goats and dire wolves like you said. Also it's important to note that DebugMenu lets you buff cards too, in case you didn't realize. If you click on a card in your deck, you can increase its power and health, and give it sigils (enable the "from merge" option if you want it to show up as a patch like with the sacrifice stones). That way, you can have more than just basic cards in your deck.

Perhaps getting 1 or 2 cards that automatically spawns items (like a pack rat for instance) could be of tremendous help, instead of having to only rely on the 3 items you are given, for the entire game. Imagine if you played a pack rat, and it gave you bleach, when facing the starvation cards (flying cards, and the bleach item is the only thing I can think of that would circumvent the starvation cards).

When I first saw this mod, I knew it would be a good addition to my blood balance mod. My idea was to fight Leshy with 5 common and 5 rare cards. That could help you.

3:48 should have taken a ring worm instead and feed it to campfire, that way you'll have a no risk campfire buff in the future but oh well you choose wrong

Game suggestions: Have you played the other games by Daniel Mullins yet? If you liked Inscryption's story, you'll probably enjoy the others too. Inscryption run suggestions: I enjoy the modded runs the most, personally. Plenty of people do runs of vanilla Kaycee's Mod, but you're the only channel I know of that plays modded Inscryption. I'm not sure which mods to suggest since I'm sure you've played all the big ones (Grimora Mod, P03 in Kaycee's Mod, Magnificus Mod) already. If it interests you at all, though, I made a mod myself recently to accommodate a challenge run I wanted to do myself. The mod is called "OnlyBattles" on Thunderstore and the way I used it was by using the DebugMenu mod to build my own deck and then seeing how far that deck could take me without adding or buffing any cards later in the run.

Generally speaking i try to prevent effects that can insta nuke a giant card, but I really ought to have them not just do... nothing. Something for me to think about.

A potentially interesting challenge run idea, which I like to call "what the fuck is a choice": - Get the Extended Maps mod and set the Map Width to 1. - Whenever you get a choice between three options (item node, any card node, cave trial, boss rare chest), you must always pick the middle option, regardless of it being helpful or detrimental for your deck.

Here's another idea: The same challenge as this one but use Bestiary instead of Hallownest Expansion and add Vanilla Encounters Expanded to the mix.

Watching the various mods for Inscryption, are always pretty fun for me. I do have a couple ideas for some games you might want to try. I'll start with your list first. 1. Evil Within 2--Thoroughly enjoyed your playthrough of the first game, and would be interested in what happens in the sequel. 2. Half-Life: One of my favorite Sci-fi/Horror games of all times. 3. Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night: Good game from the creator of the Castlevania series. Unbelievably, this game continued to receive DLC/Updates for almost 10 years! Talk about being dedicated to your fan base! 4. Silent Hill 2: takes me back to my PS2 days. One of my favorite games--EVER! Psychological Horror done right, as far as I'm concerned. Okay, I have a few ideas, based on stuff I have seen on Steam, and playthroughs on other channels. 5. Cry Of Fear: A mod of Half-Life, that essentially changes the entire game. A young man wakes up, with no idea where he is, wonders around a metropolitan area, that appears to be empty--except for the hideous monsters roaming around, who seem to want him dead. Psychological Horror in the vein of Silent Hill. 6. Speaking of mods that change an entire game: Resident Evil 4 World S Another mod that changes the game--Literally. You now have new enemies, new locations to explore, and--new bosses. Truly a blast to play. Does crash sometimes, so downloading and applying the patch should help with that. 7. Murder House: Puppet Combo is a studio known for their hardcore Horror games, that interestingly enough, mostly appear to take place in a shared universe, like DC and Marvel comics characters (don't go in expecting next gen graphics, or stellar voice acting, because you won't find it in most of their titles). The story, revolves around a crew that works at a local news station, that arrives at a isolated house, that was home to a serial killer, who dressed as the Easter Bunny to lure kids--his victims--into his deadly traps. Even though, he was executed for his crimes, someone appears to have taken his place, and is targeting the staff and members of the news crew. Make sure you get thru the credits at the end of the game, because there is an additional scenario, that takes a final, disturbing twist. 8. Blood Wash-- Speaking of Puppet Combo, here is one I found interesting. The story revolves around a young college student, being interviewed for a job the next day, with no clean clothes to wear, so upon advice from her neighbor, sets out for an open all night laundromat, but, unnervingly, A serial killer targeting pregnant women have been striking in the area. As the night goes on, she finds herself (and anyone attempting to help her) in the killer's crosshairs. 8. Silent Hill 2 Remake: Final entry on my list. Huge fan of the original on my PS2, but this remake changes some things, including more aggressive enemies, such as the mannequins, who were a pushover in the original, is now absolutely vicious. And you have to be vigilant (especially in the prison area) as some enemies can climb walls, and will ambush you, if given the chance. That's about all for now, just know I appreciate the channel, as it seems to be filled with interesting content, but, chilled and relaxed at the same time (nice change of pace, from all the content creators that yell, holler, scream, and swear every 2 minutes). Great Kraken has a lot of great sigil synergies, but my favorite is touch of death, the first attack has no risk and 2 out of 3 Tentacles have increased health. there's also Morsel which i love how it basically negates the downsides of the Tentacles. 9:38 memory of a gold fish right here, best part, no second hand embarrassment, it was just funny.

I'd love to see you play more po3 in kaycee's mod,i would also like to see you try out Magnificus mod! I've not really seen anyone play it. Finally ReScribed is my favorite vanilla mod, i know i already suggest it and you did play it but it doesn't hurt to throw in and it also recently got a big update. Also sorry if i have a bunch of comments, there's been some strange sending errors.

I'm working on another mod like Blood Balance but including bone mechanics and grimora cards with a new starter deck and a skeleton side deck. I'm doing this to make the pseudo act2 idea have more content. If you wanna play other games however, Undertale is really good

Evil Within 2 is hilariously fun to play, especially if you enjoyed the first. Re7 is always, also, fun! As far as Inscryption goes, maybe Nemesis spotlight run from the Dead By Daylight (I think) mod could be fun.

Here's an idea for a run: use the ReScribed mod but disable the vanilla card pack (using pack manager) so you cannot get the vanilla cards by yourself (except the forced pack rat or the failsafes like mantis god or geck) but you still fight against the rebalanced vanilla cards during battle encounters and on top of that, get some card mods (preferably the big ones, such as hallownest expansion or nevernameds bestiary) i think it would be interesting - using only modded cards against rebalanced vanilla cards

Turkey vulture is now so good!!! River otter still isn't good, weak, but has a fun sigil combo to put on other cards. I'm pretty sure the royal was changed but don't quote me on that.
