Unreconstructed is a channel dedicated to the preservation of Dixie’s musical traditions, as well as keeping the fighting spirit of Dixie alive and well for all her true sons and daughters. Unlike many today, we seek to fight against the Anti-Southern attitudes that persist within our society.
We are not a political page. We simply seek to preserve our history and heritage as a people.

Paddy's Lamentation - Anti-Union Folk Song
"Paddy's Lamentation" is a song of Irish origin, speaking to the point of view of the average Irishman who came to the American North at the onset of the War of Northern Aggression. The singer, a Union veteran of the war, warns his fellow Irishmen that all that will await them in America is war and death.
While this sort of song is not what the channel was originally intended for, I simply couldn't ignore the relevancy it holds even today. Given the situation of the country, what with leaders who make false promises just like General Meagher in the song and the forever wars we as Americans have to pay for with our tax dollars, not to mention the blood of our innocent youth, I see no reason...

George Wallace is the man in that image. He was a strong supporter for the confederacy, (and segregation, though for a short while). He was awesome, in fact George Washington. The first president of the USA and aswell the man who shaped America to be the most influential country. Also stated how terrible political parties were. People did not listen and we have clowns like Biden being popular and strong leaders like Trump being held back by their respective parties. George Wallace was the closest thing to a strong hero, coming from George Wallace not being in any political parties (he was an independent). Much better than Nixon who all he did was bomb Vietnam and still lost, created deficit spending, and spied on the other political parties. George Wallace was the way to go.

I understand the main point of this song and agree with it. However I believe that another point to this song is that the grass isn't always greener on the other side and it's sometimes better to be grateful for what you have.

Not all Irish went to the USA. Many went to the countries of S. America...especially to Argentine. Those that did, were welcomed and quickly became part of these countries. Over a quarter of a million went to Argentine alone. Another 100,000 to Brazil.

Hey y'all, just wanted to give y'all an upload to assure y'all I ain't dead! While I am still busy with my personal life, I hope to be able to make more videos for the channel when I have free time. This was an idea I had originally worked on back before I even uploaded "The South Shall Rise Again", although not much had been done other than the graphic design. Hello there! I would like to apologize for my absence, which likely will continue at least until next year I’m afraid. I have been busy with life, especially struggling financially. Thankfully, God has blessed me with a good job and I am hoping to start back up this passion project at the beginning of next year after I have moved into my new place.
