Went to a dayglo show last night with my two (now adult) sons. Family outing to the hardcore show. Unless you’ve actually been you can’t understand how genuinely nice and wholesome that is. Also was talking to Murray as I’m from Victoria in the 90s and he said “oh yeah I sent them thank you cards we were nobodies before they did that.” Proto-Streisand Effect.

My mom told me about when they came to our hometown and played "Release the hostages". Not one woman raised their shirt and the lead singer was so visibly disappointed. Mom felt pride at the moment lol

We were just getting off the ferry after driving home from Alberta for Christmas. The Pat Bay Highway looked like a farmer's field track, almost impassable except for the four wheel drive truck we were in.

We lived in Gordon Head and had 2 couples over for dinner…they had to stay for 3 days before we could get out!
