on PC it no longer lets you bring dog meat into the vault so its patched if you have the newest version

I don't think this is a glitch, it's been something that Dogmeat can do for quite a few games at this point. It's probably the most common way of getting the victory rifle in FO3.
It was rumoured to of been patched years ago, sort of implying it’s a glitch. I just wanted to test if it was actually patched or not :)
@@ColonelBased That would be weird, because that's one of the big advantages to have him and there's no way they didn't think to deal with this when they were playtesting it.
@@SmallSpoonBrigade true, however there are also TONS of bugs/glitches in the game lol
@@ColonelBased IKR, I just hacked my way through the mechanist's final fight several times before I found out that my VAT enhanced power armor helmet was glitching the mechanist and i had to remove it in order to talk with her. (I probably won't bother doing it that way again as you don't really get much more experience than just using the elevator)

Go to construction mode , build a turret then pick up the turret then use it to move people / animals around
i can lock pick it no big deal
The point is that you can do this almost immediately, whereas the lock pick skills to do it come much later.

@@OIMBRITISH Yes, although in my playthroughs by the time I can lock pick my way in, the cryolater seems underwhelming.
The first thing I did when I saw the cryolator in the vault when starting my playthrough. It really helped take care of legendary enemies in early time of playthrough when I had no good weapons yet
dogmeat is truly an eldritch god in disguise, this is just 0.001% of his power
My sanctuary hills city is so different to this that I didn't recognise the video at first

I’m not sure to be honest. But if the NPC you’re trying to get has a mission for you, you won’t be able to get them
@@ColonelBased I don't think he does, and I think I'm on the same mission you were at
@TennisBoat odd. I don’t think you always get every available gang member, perhaps just try a few different times. It all just depends on what NPCs go to defend the camp. Maybe Dutch is just being lazy lol
